She’s just too cheap to pay for her kids to sit in first class or is using it as an opportunity to get away from them because any parent that says their kid has to work for it knowing their kid is a literal kid still is so weird to me….

If she REALLY wanted to teach them the value of a dollar, she would sit in coach WITH them, and make sure they behave and not leave it in the oldest.

I understand the sentiment, but being separated from your kids on a plane isn’t the place to teach them. Want a new bike, gaming system, etc? Work for it and get it. That’s acceptable. Too many pedos around to leave young kids unattended. Jay is better off!

I would not consider doing this to my children at these ages. My kids flew by themselves underage, but they were accompanied by a rep from airline who took them from me and presented them to the family meeting them at airport. This is another level of….family elitism. Weird.

I think this is absolutely brilliant! My dad has done the same thing to me since I was a kid. It was only on my 30th bday flying to London from LA that he upgraded me to 1st class. My bro & I work very hard to travel. cause my dad taught us the value of $.
