I remember when Bill Maher used to be informed. How can he not remember the worst stock market crash since the great depression when the shutdowns happened?

In March 2020, the U.S. stock market experienced a significant crash due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On March 9, known as "Black Monday," the S&P 500 fell 7% shortly after the market opened, triggering a trading halt. Just a few days later, on March 12, dubbed "Black Thursday," the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 10%, marking its worst day since 1987. In response to the financial turmoil, the Federal Reserve took unprecedented actions, injecting over $1.5 trillion into the financial system through asset purchases to stabilize markets. These measures primarily benefited large financial institutions and investors, while many working-class individuals received comparatively limited support.

The fact that Bill is totally unaware of what happened with the stock market and the Fed’s massive role during the crisis yet still speaks as if he’s somehow knowledgeable on this subject is fucking embarrassing!

You have to admire Krystal Ball, she not afraid to expose herself as a moron. She does it with such confidence.

Krystal is right the inflation was caused by supply chain bottlenecks, not government spending. But right-wing idiot like Maher wants to blame govt assistance for the working class during the pandemic but have no problem with the Fed flushing the market with reserves through QE.
And looked fucking fabulous while doing it! 🤩

She always looks amazing. Her outfits are always so cute.

This lady is crying about something she does not understand

He’s actually right. The market didn’t crash. It went down briefly about 8,000 points, but then climbed back up. She’s also partially correct in that money helped BOTH the wealthy and poor and drove the market back up, but it also led to massive inflation.

Krystal Ball ALWAYS puts it down
