Stopped bus ahead and always expect someone to cross the road! Slow down or stop! The bus should have stopped before the zebra crossing, not after it. But even if it didn’t, the car driver must stay alert !!

Routing cycle lanes through the pavement at bus stops has to stop. Floating bus stops are not safe or accessible for blind people. Access has to be from the kerbside, direct from the pavement without having to cross a cycle lane first. This is at Elephant & Castle in London.

Collision: Burlington Skyway - School bus vs. car. The car was stopped and blocking a live lane of the #QEW, the driver of the car was standing outside of her car. The bus collided with the car, which in turn struck the woman on the highway. She was taken to hospital with serious injuries. All lanes have since reopened. ^ks
