Dr Babu Varghese, in his interview on TheNewsMinute said he has never seen the kind of barbarism & lawlessness in the history of India. Video 1: He talked about #Manipur saying it is the mob who is in control. "The government has miserably failed. This isn't democracy, this is mobocracy. You are speaking gibberish madam Binalakshmi Nepram why can’t you get straight into the question instead of beating around the bush everytime? The key word here is “12 militants”. How many more militants are still undercover? And the meira paibis who are noble women as they define are leading them to create havoc in kuki-zo villages. You question the central govt about not resolving the issue yet you support these group of women who obstruct the armies from carrying out their duties. Tapta, a well-known Meitei singer, recently released a song that promotes violence, expressing a desire for the complete eradication of the Kuki-Zo community, even in the event of achieving peace. The lyrics contain a derogatory claim defaming the Indian Army, asserting that they involve themselves in inappropriate or exploitative behaviour with daughters affected by AIDS. These lyrics reveal a strong presence of xenophobia, prejudice, bigotry, racism, and discrimination towards another ethnic group. It appears that they have been radicalised to harbour intense animosity towards this community. In June, the Meitei Civil Society Organisation (CSO) named COCOMI declared war on the Kuki-Zo tribes. There are also numerous Meitei individuals, ranging from ordinary citizens to prominent figures, openly advocating for war and the extermination of the Kuki community. Given the prevailing attitude of the Meitei population towards the Kuki community, achieving peace seems highly unlikely. Tapta, a well-known Meitei singer, recently released a song that promotes violence, expressing a desire for the complete eradication of the Kuki-Zo community, even in the event of achieving peace. The lyrics contain a derogatory claim defaming the Indian Army, asserting that they involve themselves in inappropriate or exploitative behaviour with daughters affected by AIDS. These lyrics reveal a strong presence of xenophobia, prejudice, bigotry, racism, and discrimination towards another ethnic group. It appears that they have been radicalised to harbour intense animosity towards this community. In June, the Meitei Civil Society Organisation (CSO) named COCOMI declared war on the Kuki-Zo tribes. There are also numerous Meitei individuals, ranging from ordinary citizens to prominent figures, openly advocating for war and the extermination of the Kuki community. Given the prevailing attitude of the Meitei population towards the Kuki community, achieving peace seems highly unlikely. Let us take a moment to look at the root cause of how violence escalated from 3rd of May until now: 1. Fake&fabricated news about a meitei lady being raped in Churachandpur made the rounds on social media widely circulated which was later clarified by concerned authorities & the alleged victim’s parents that no such thing occurred. 2. Based on this information, tribal women in Imphal-meitei dominated localities were subjected to sexual&physical abuse and brutality. Meitei women the so called Imas/ #MeiraPaibis were seen encouraging their sons/boys to rape a tribal girl in broad daylight. They were seen actively participating in the lynching of Kuki-zo tribals. 3. Despite all these, the so called *#MeiraPaibis* declared the 3rd Nupilal so brazenly. The so called Mothers encouraging their sons to violate another women’s daughter has shown us how degraded the mentality of these meitei women are. 4. While calling out for peace in-front of national media houses, their so called activist Binalakshmi Nepram apparently forgot how in the name of #WomenEmpowerment her own womenfolk from her community colluded in sheltering & instigating violence against their fellow women. Double standard hypocrisy Alert. The very women that went wild & crazy thirsting for blood & weapon are now crying PEACE infront of outsiders is a staged act hidden with vicious malice. 5. We cannot trust women that demanded the violation of another women’s precious daughter & took part in their lynching. Kwatha is burning 🔥 now - this is the only Meitei Village in the #Kuki dominated place Tengnoupal Tensil in the Indo-Myanmar Border. It started at 10.30 pm tonight and there are concerns whether this village of just 370 people is a Victim of Arson by Terrorist. 💥This Meitei Village is one of the least developed area in the state inhabited by Meiteis with one of the most economically disadvantaged section 💥 But they are non-Kukis , not Scheduled tribes and hence the Media will ignore them ‼️( Let’s remind that on 22nd July 2023, there was an attempt to attack Kwatha village and burn down house but Stopped by the #AssamRifles On that day in July , Around 2000 Kukis, including both men and women gathered at Moreh Kut Ground at around 10 am and held a rally under the aegis of the Kuki Women Union and Human Rights (KWUHR), Moreh. The rally which started from Kut Ground went up to the gate of Forest Office, Moreh. As soon as the rally ended at around 3 pm, the protesters transformed into a mob and they proceeded towards Kwatha village with alleged intention to attack and burn down the village. They were stopped by troops of 5 Assam Rifles near the gate of Kwatha village. Considering the vulnerability of Kwatha Khunou, all the residents of the village have been evacuated to Kwatha Khunjao. ) ‼️ It would be shame on the might of India 🇮🇳, if this Meitei Village becomes one of the last Meitei settlement to be cleansed from kuki-Dominated area in Manipur.
