Bato repeatedly berates the journalists and the public asking legitimate questions. We then see the coup-installed Senate President, Allan Peter Cayetano castigating General Samonte infront of the public. Cayetano then had General Samonte removed and replaced by Retired General Mao Aplasca a day after. An interesting note is that Aplasca and Bato were classmates and close friends during their time at the PMA. Two days after taking over the OSAA, Mao Aplasca showed his abusive nature by accosting and attempting to arrest a law enforcement agent from the NBI when he does not have the right to do so. He fires his long firearm repeatedly 17 times towards the agent and a blue guard detailed at the adjacent GSIS building.
