They should absolutely beg to be kept until the end of hostilities!

These kids seem different than the vodka diluted, soulless, hardcore criminals that we see elsewhere. They’re just boys, young man that could have a bright future…but instead, they’re already dead. They will get processed and sent back, with malice.

Good thing, Russia isn't worth dying for

Yeah, cause they know they're safe. At least until they get released, and their own people start to punish them.

Happy to be captured! They’ll be bummed to be exchanged! They’re looking forward to a nice vacation! In the meantime, the snipers of 🇺🇦 desperately need ammo! Please help if you’re able!

They simply don’t get what is really going on, they think it’s a joke.

Toy soldiers

These young Russian soldiers look more relieved than captured. At 19-20, perhaps they realize there’s nothing to gain in a war led by distant leaders. Smiling as they choose life over fighting for a cause far from their own.

I guess they know that previous conscript POWs were treated well and were fast tracked home on the prisoner exchange program….and they’re alive.

They’re happy that they won’t die and they will get decent food again.
