Kyiv now 🇺🇦 I’m where democracy sings.

I am British, so will not offer an opinion on the President's decision. I will say that it is deeply moving to see peaceful protests, and to hear your anthem, because it means you have freedom, and that is what you are fighting to keep. Russia wants to steal this from you.

So beautiful and very moving, peaceful democracy. The world has so much to learn from Ukraine and her people. Thank you Yara 🫂 💙🇺🇦💛

This scene has just been broadcasted live in one of our German main TV-newscasts some minutes ago. 🙂

Oh, glad to hear that. There are many journalists here.

Here - it starts at min. 09:22 - German TV news:

Midst in war, 🇺🇦 people stand up for their values, express their opinion numerous and persistent. Peacefully singing. Powerful! This is how democracy looks like! How it should be seen more often in our countries too. May the people be heard and the right decisions be made 🇺🇦🙏

@pictureladyjan What a wonderful joyous sound of hope! Wishing you all well and safe now especially 🫂🫂🇺🇦💪🏻🇺🇦💪🏻🇺🇦

Can you explain why people are so against Fedorov replacement? I am european and our news can't really explain...

He was the most effective minister so far.

I dont know much about the controversy or what prompted President Zelenskyy to do the things he has done, but I love these beautiful Ukrainians.

This is what democracy is about all about, people expressing their opinion on what they believe is a misstep by the government That each time people share their frustrations that it always includes this most beautiful song, just goes to show that just because you disagree it doesn't mean you're any less patriotic Hearing what is a personal favorite being sung by the most amazing people on Earth, this is truly a cherishable moment Thank you Yaroslava, for capturing what real strength looks like 💙💛🇺🇦💙💛

You are all amazing in your strength and steadfastness. God bless everyone. 🇺🇦🇺🇸

This response is so so impressive.

❤️💙💛

Serene & beautiful. 🇺🇦 at its finest. Thank you for sharing this truly moving sign of the times, Yaroslava. May this example inspire the people of other nations who have it & take it for granted - Democracy's not a given; generations have fought for it & it needs to be cherished.

Beautiful & deeply moving 💙💛❤️ God bless you & all Ukrainians 🙏🙏🙏

💪💪💪🇺🇦

Beautiful.

☮️❤️

Amazing...so beautiful, so inspiring. Thanks for sharing.

🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏💛💙

Let's hope democracy is heard loud and clear! It's a tough situation. Kudos to the equally tough Ukrainian people coming out to peacefully protest.

"Democracy"? Overthrowing your own elected government is not a "democracy". The last national election was in 2019 and the last local elections in 2020. That is not "democracy".

I love the ukrainian society. On fire 🔥 Very very bad decision of Ze. I like Federov very much.

💪💙💛

I have so much respect for your country. I wish more Americans would stand up to defend our democracy. Some of us are doing the best we can, but there aren't enough of us fighting right now. We don't even have to survive a war and fight for our democracy at the same time. ♥️🇺🇦♥️
