I remember taking a trip to Florida in my teens. We were sightseeing , new to the area. I was just enjoying the sun and the warm weather for once, I didn’t expect to see anything out of the ordinary. It finally hit me as we were enjoying a drink on the water, we see what looks like a floating log. Our friend who owned the boat said to keep our eyes open and don’t freak out, as long as we were in the boat we were fine. Just hearing that alone was almost panic inducing because he didn’t tell us what we were supposed to be careful of. When the “log drifted under the water, I finally understood what it was that we were looking at. Our friend had us piled in a boat on water infested with these gators. Being from up north, we didn’t see much of this. It made me believe I was in my own movie but I was going to be okay, I thought to myself if it was truly dangerous, our friend wouldn’t have brought us out there right? I stayed calm though, I never knew you could fish in areas that had gators, I assumed they would always go after your bait. All in all I would do it again, but I would never have taken anyone in the water and not tell them about the inhabitants, just in case they have a real phobia. Like I would never take my kids in there in case one panics and falls in. But looking back I’m thinking he may have been in the wrong for taking us there, would you take your friends in an area infested with these creatures not knowing? It’s a little messed up in my opinion but I’m over it.

Chris Bosh says he found out LeBron was leaving Miami through a text 10 minutes before it was announced 😳 “I thought it was BS. 10 minutes later it was everywhere. I get it but at the time I didn’t understand it. At the time I was ready to put the team back together cause we had just lost so we wanted to put something back together so we could win. And it really didn’t go like that. I took offense to it tbh… I’m a competitor and tbh when you go back to the locker room and Bron ain’t in that chair and everybody is looking at you and D Wade for that 25 points it’s like damn, man. Sh*t my knee hurts… I was upset it took months to get over it. My cousins and my brother and I were exploring Coney Island, we saw the sights, hung out at the arcades and before we went back to the apartment we decided to go and get something to eat, we had some money on us but not much so we decided to see what we could get at one of the vendors. This was back in the early 90’s when most of them had dollar slices of pizza wherever we went. So we got 4 pieces of pizza, should have been $4 because that’s the price we were used to. The guy wanted to charge us $24 at $6 a slice. We argues with him because one of my cousins already took a bite being so hungry. But at the least we owed $4. We gave the other slices back and refused them but had to pay for the partially eaten one, it was embarrassing that an adult would try that on a bunch of kids. We told our uncle what happened and he went back and yelled at the vendor. He was familiar with them because he used to get slices all the time from the same guy and he never charged my uncle that price. I couldn’t imagine paying that exurban amount, like this guy who was being charged $54 for a hotdog by one of the vendors. At first he thought it was a typo and it was $5.40 but the vendor. Learned it up when he said no it was $54. Would you have paid that amount? I would have walked away, clearly he was trying to possibly scam a the man for looking like a tourist. Part of the experience when visiting a new area is the street food but it’s becoming more and more a chore avoiding places like this.

Even as kids we knew that stealing was wrong yet another kid stole my bike. It was a big deal because we were poor, just came to this country for a few years and my parents saved up to get me a bike. I loved that thing, I used to ride it all around the neighborhood for hours. So naturally when somebody took it, I was devastated. Turned out it was another kid nearby and I was lucky enough to get it back. Many of my friends who had their bike stolen wasn’t so lucky. Just one of those things you live and learn, luckily for me I won’t have to deal with it with my kids, they don’t like riding bikes at all. Has this ever happened to you? Ever have your bike stolen? Ever get it back? I think everyone has had this happen at least one in their life, just something we all have to deal with I guess.

They fully agreed to that with strong policing powers, and they won't have nuclear weapons, which is what I was all about, because they probably would have used it if they had it. So we had two big moments when they terminated the JCPOA, that was the Obama deal, the Barrack Hussein Obama deal, and when I terminated that, it was very important because it was a road to a nuclear weapon. It was a horrible deal for the United States. It was a deal where billions of dollars was given to Iran. It was a deal where 1.7 billion in cash was put on a Boeing 7, well, not a 7, 7, 57, I guess, right? But it was put on a big, beautiful Boeing 757. They needed a Boeing 747 to be honest with you, because it was a lot of cash. 1.7 billion was taken out of the banks and given to Iran, and on top of that, tens of billions of dollars was made. So they tried to bribe them to make a deal that didn't work. It never works. And that we lived on a great job, and hopefully it's going to be a good relationship, and we're going to get along. And if we don't, we go back to where we started, but I don't know if it's going to be necessary. The Iran deal that we made is going to bring a lot of success to the world, because the oil was really plugged up there for a while. They would call me on occasion, "See, come on, please. Let's go." The oil prices. But the oil is coming way down.”

After every game, my body aches and my head hurts, and then we have to somehow get to sleep, and then we’ve got to wake up early and stuff. So there’s loads of factors into this. It’s not just simply, you go in and you play. And I think we started slow today, especially on Corrode and Lotus. A big map was Lotus for us, and we weren’t able to, just everything wasn’t going our way. The Odin was completely annihilating us. Then when we got to Abyss, we were like, ‘This is the last chance.’ And I felt very confident that we could win this one, because I felt like I knew everything they did on the attack side. And then, what were we like 1–11 down or something? I was like, ‘Oh bloody hell, this one’s going to be a tough one, isn’t it?’ We managed to do it, and then I was like, ‘Holy guacamole, the dream is alive!’ And it felt amazing, hearing the crowd and being able to just do that, because it would’ve been so disappointing of a final to just bomb out there. But in the FNATIC way, we fight back. Ascent, we’re starting to feel the kind of momentum. And then it gets to Sunset, a map that was the one kind of perma-ban we had, but we had some stuff on it. Unfortunately, it was just the crucial map for us to get the win, and some of the rounds just didn’t go our way, and that’s how VALORANT goes, you know. It felt like the rounds that we needed to win, we lost, and then they had an ultimate the next round, and that’s how brutal it is on defense. If we had just been able to win one of those rounds, like the bonus round, holy guacamole, we would’ve been loving life. And it was the difference of like a 1v1 in the end. The theme park enforces a strict age limit especially for unaccompanied minors. They even have a sign posted that anybody under 17 has to be accompanied by a minor. This woman dropped off her kids at the water park and none of them were over the age of 17. They were also breaking rules and running wild. The mom seems to imply they were kicked out for another reason but I don’t think so. Follow the rules and everybody wins right? Such an easy to grasp concept. When I was younger, my neighbors parents and my parents used to drop us kids off at the pool for the day, it was never an issue. We were all between 10-13 years old. The park didn’t have an age restriction posted and we all knew how to act right and stay out of trouble. This was during the golden era of the Super Soaker water guns. I had a Super Soaker 200 and my friends had a 50 and a 100. Other kids would bring their water guns too and we would all have water gun fights at the pool. We’ve done this before and nobody ever had an issue. But on this day, we encountered our first pool Karen. She was mad because her kid was squirted with a water gun while in the pool. The kid didn’t even care nor did she have an issue because she had a water gun too. But this lady was so outraged that her kid who participated in a water gun fight was blaster by a water gun. The park manager had his hands tied and actually booted many of us out for creating a disturbance but not for having and using the water guns. Yeah we were mad and disappointed because we normally didn’t leave until 5pm and it was only 12pm. We had to call one of our parents to come and get us and explain why we got booted out. My friend’s mom spoke to the manager and intervened on our behalf. She said why isn’t the woman’s child booted as well, why was it only us? The manager didn’t really had a good explanation for it and ended up letting us back in to the Karen’s dismay. She objected and the manager told her that if we had to leave then she had to leave as well because her child was doing the same thing as well. She huffed and puffed but backed off because she didn’t want to lose the $13 admission she had to pay. For the rest of the day we didn’t use the water guns, we actually ended up putting them away in my friend’s mom’s car when she came to pick us up.

Cam Johnson says goodbye to the Nets: "I love the people in that building... I enjoyed it because of that, and I had faith in what we were building because of that. I really think Jordi's a fantastic coach. Playing that one season under him, personnel constantly shifting, we had trades, we had injuries, he always maintained such a good approach to the team, and he was always able to motivate us to play hard. Our record wasn't great, but I think throughout the season we consistently gave effort. And I credit our coaching staff a lot for that. Two years there, playoffs when we first got there. Obviously, we wish we could've been better. And I was willing to do everything in my power to get us back on a winning track. And I think they’ll get there eventually. I have faith in those guys in that building. I’ll miss them, and I appreciate them. I appreciate everything they did for myself and my career. Me and my mates caused this: We turned up at their wedding uninvited and started fighting with the guests and they had the cheek to tell us to leave because we were ruining their wedding when it was only a few of us and not everyone. Then they tried to lock the doors. But we held them open while more came in. We didn’t like the music either so we made the DJ to swerve the Motown and play some techno to suit us. It was an all inclusive bar and a free buffet so we stayed to the end even though we didn’t like it there. I just wanted to call the family out and tell you all how intolerant they were to us. I’ve never been made to feel so unwelcome. We had just as much of a right to be there as anyone else. It was a public building. They don’t own it. I’m sure you will all agree that the family were bang out of order. We only ruined their wedding the crying cnts. Horrible people.

storytime with kai #1 ⭐️ 🐧 this one time…when we were doing the jacket shoot for ‘deja vu’…what was the name again? the concept where i’m wearing a headband, we filmed it outdoors…the one with the rockband vibes 🐧 we filmed it outdoors and we filmed it in january so it was really cold and since we kept moving, sweating and running…the way i remember it, we had a 3 day break after that shoot; i’m not kidding when i say that i was in bed for 3 days straight because i had a cold 🐧 it was really rough so i texted soobin hyung and was like “soobin hyung, please save me” so soobin hyung came to my room and gave me cold medicine and really helped me a lot…the cold medicine that soobin hyung gave me had an instant effect so it really helped a lot 🐧 at the time, we had 3 days off but i was really sick right from day 1 because i caught a cold…and it was snowing! it was actually snowing and i went to the convenience store for a bit because i needed to eat so i went to the convenience store to buy food and i was walking back like this with the food in my hand while getting hit by the snow so it really looked like a movie scene 🐧 it was a good memory…i already had a cold and i was sick but it got worse because i went out in the snow

I'd been a cabinet minister in Ted Heath's government and seen Ted go in with all the right principles; a marvellous manifesto in 1970. I'd seen Ted retreat from them all. Instead of becoming a freer society and less regulated we finished up with more regulations, some of them fatal. I knew then that the really important thing was to keep persevering with the principles and not at a time when you got great unpopularity give them up. Therefore, I knew that we had to drive through. Let me give you an example: I didn't like very big budget deficits. I thought often people quoted Keynes about it not being necessary to balance things one year with another. They always took the deficit years and forgot the years when you in fact had a surplus so you got a balance over time, so deficits rose and rose. I was determined to tackle public expenditure. It was tough. We had a recession in 1981 and it went up but only very slightly because we were being very tough. In fact, I did the whole Falklands campaign without any increase in expenditure because we had the contingency reserve and that was adequate. At the end of my time, in the last 4 years, we had a budget surplus, able to redeem debt. You don't get that without trying to be tough the whole time.
