Trump has violated just about every rule and norm in our democracy. When we get to Washington, we need to codify those norms into law, and we need to focus on appointing and elected judges to the bench at every level who will uphold those laws so what’s happening right now can never happen again.

Kim: Yeah, look, I mean, first and foremost, especially when it comes to abuse, sexual abuse, and sexual assault, this should not be about politics at all. This is about people’s safety. It’s about making sure victims have justice and accountability, and that this doesn’t happen anymore. You know, I actually worked here when I was younger as a graduate student fellow. We should never allow any of that when it comes to the staff or anywhere else. People should feel safe here at the Capitol. Again, this is somewhere where I think we need to make sure we’re showing accountability. I’m going to do everything I can on the Democratic side to push in that direction and stand up, especially when it’s very clear that something is not in line with our values or our laws. I push Republicans to do the same. I wish I had greater sway on that side to be able to enforce that, but they need to step up more, and we all need to step up more to make it clear that this is unacceptable.
