I was thankful to give SheilaWalsh on TBN a quick update of how Samaritan's Purse is continuing to serve communities along the Guadalupe River in Texas. The destruction in the hill country of Texas is horrific, but Samaritan's Purse is here to love our neighbor and most importantly remind these families that God loves them so much that he sent his one and only son Jesus Christ to die for them, He has not forsaken them. Pray for Texas as they heal. We aren’t going anywhere until the work is done.

.Samaritan's Purse staff in the DRC are not only treating patients with Ebola but also helping prevent the spread of the disease by conducting public education and training for healthcare workers on how to avoid transmission. We’ve set up 164 hand washing stations and provided 191 radio messaging spots to support local communities. Please keep praying—it’s now the second largest Ebola outbreak in history and so many are suffering.
