I could write a huge text about my boyfriend/fiancé, but I think his actions say more than words ever could. please, never settle for a kind of love that doesn’t fulfil you. love can be difficult, love can be hard, and every relationship will have its issues, but you should never feel ashamed of being who you are or have to hide the things that make you happy. I’ve read so many heartbreaking stories about boyfriends who don’t allow their girlfriends to enjoy the things they love, and please, don’t stay with someone who tries to restrain you or make you smaller. one day, the right person will come along. it’s a cliche, I know, but even if he doesn’t, is it worthy to lose sight of who you truly are? I think that has to do with some type of Christian guilt or something. But it’s cool when people you really look up to think that you’re a good person or that you’re doing good things. I only know what to do because I see other people in my life doing good things and listening to trans people who need representation and money for healthcare and rent. It's ok to feel lonely during this time of year. I think it's possible to feel so much love and gratitude and at the same time feel the longing for things you've always wanted.
