Sad... government has failed them... imagine paying high taxes and still have to hire your own police and fire...

I'm surprised California hasn't banned private firefighting. It seems they want to control every aspect of life.

Mixed feels about this. On one hand they have the money but on the other, feels like any able bodied firefighter should be helping the fire department.
