The great stairs amof the Palais Garnier suits very well to this Verdi opera.

In my (perhaps old-fashioned) opinion, this is how you should be dressed watching an opera in the Palais Garnier. It’s a location for evening gowns. I was there once visiting a ballet and was a bit disappointed seeing many people in jeans, even sweat pants.
