🚨 A Director of an NDIS Business has been charged with allegedly defrauding $3.5 million from Australia’s NDIS in Sydney. AFP as part of the executed searched warrant, allegedly found $35,000 in cash which they believe is from the proceeds of crime, air guns and gel blasters. NDIS CEO Graeme Head assures the Australian public that whilst *most* provided do the right things, the small number that don’t, ‘expect a knock on the door’ NDIS is currently running at over $52 billion a year to the Australian taxpayer.

In this session I talked about the fact that companies who have gone bust, owing taxes and super, are still receiving payments from the NDIS and are allowed to sign on. Why is the government continuing to let this happen? The governance of billions in taxpayer dollars is still completely shot despite the scheme being established 13 years ago. Even worse, the definition of 'fraud' is being moved around to make the official government figures look better. Payments are being made to people who should never be allowed to receive taxpayer funds. We need to sweep a broom through the entire NDIS.

Labor and the Greens just combined to vote down a Senate inquiry into NDIS fraud. Everyone knows that vulnerable disabled people are being exploited but they voted it down for political reasons because they don’t like Pauline Hanson. This shouldn’t be a partisan, left-right issue. The NDIS will destroy us all if we let it, and it will take the poor and the disabled with it. The NDIS is destroying productivity at a scale never seen before in this country and we're borrowing from the future in order to consume in the present, impoverishing ourselves as seen in our declining standards of living. What's the answer? To abandon the disabled? No, of course not. The answer is to deal with the cost of government and the cost of living so that disabled people and their families are better able to take care of themselves, with community support for those in greatest need, because the cost of living is manageable, taxes are minimal, and community support is available.
