It's remarkable that the Darzi Report into the NHS was done in 9 weeks and yet the review into social care is going to take 3 years. The govt can't achieve a shift from hospital to community without tackling social care and ensuring patients are discharged to the right places.

#BBCDebate There are many things we need to do. There are two really important things. We have to keep the budget strong. You need a strong economy to do that. And public spending is going to go up. It will go up, and for the NHS very substantially. The only people on this platform who have ever cut the NHS budget are Labour in Wales, they've cut it four times and that's why their waiting lists are four times longer than they are in England. Not only can you not afford a Labour government, the NHS can't afford it either.

Even after the Bill is amended, it’s still taking the PIP. It’s still billions of pounds from the pockets of people like Alicia. Disabled people that need that money to live on. Presenter: So they have made changes. It’s not anything like enough. Green MPs, and all decent MPs, will be voting against the two-tier Bill.
