Looking back at 2025, I have done all I can to stand up for our rural communities, including co-laying an amendment to toughen sentencing for theft of high-value farming equipment, bringing the Shadow Farming... Minister to meet local farmers, backing action to protect productive farmland, and campaigning against the Government’s cruel Family Farm Tax, which just a few days ago the Government partially u-turned on. As we enter a new year, I will continue to fight for our farmers and ensure rural communities and concerns are pushed higher up Labour's agenda.
