During the Assembly Public Safety Committee hearing on AB 47, Assemblymember Tom Lackey (R-Palmdale) said he couldn’t understand why the was even debating letting “the worst of the worst” out early when a judge had heard all of the evidence and sentenced a defendant based on the evidence.
