Kevin: Yeah, everybody... You go back, and you say, "What incentives can you give us to invest $15 billion in the first 1.5 gigs?" That's what it takes. I have to go raise $15 billion. Kevin argued that states compete with each other for major investments, offering tax incentives to attract companies willing to spend billions and create jobs. Tucker wasn't buying it. "If it's such a good business, why would you be asking taxpayers to help pay for it without giving them equity in the company? Are you giving taxpayers shares?" Kevin said no. Investors get the shares. Tucker kept pressing: "If you want to start a business, why am I, as a taxpayer, forced to pay for your business?" These 5 guys I nicknamed the "shady bunch" seemingly have no business being backstage. I don't know who they are, I don't know anyone that knows who they are, I don't know who they came with or why they're hanging out behind the tent. Pierce Beck the security team member has interactions with them, Phil Lyman doesn't know them and I can't find any reliable information about who they are. Any leads would be greatly appreciated 🙏.
