Britain's Lost & Living Pubs It was one of the few surviving pubs in the whole of Tilbury, which is a highly populated area. Pubs were supposed to be cheap places to bring people together as opposed to overtaxed, overpriced bars. Now, people sit in their homes or aimlessly roam the streets. Crews from Essex County Fire and Rescue Service were called to the The Worlds End Pub in Tilbury, Thurrock, external, at 15:30 BST on Wednesday (23/09/2026). It had a wonderful, decorative interior. Not too long ago, Chelsea Dan took the time to have a day out in the area just to visit this gem. People around the world have little idea how much our pubs mean to us and what their decline represents within our hearts and minds.

The Prospect of Whitby is both a museum and a relic to Great #Britain. This was once one of the most dangerous places one could drink whichever side of the law you sat. The History and Fate of the Briggens House Estate For centuries, Briggens house, on the Briggens Estate, has stood as a prime example of high culture and architectural splendour. Its history is as extensive as it is fascinating, which is why some of it is covered in this video. On a (very) warm, sunny day, we took a trip to this beautiful spot that sits in the picturesque countryside between #Essex and #Hertfordshire, not only talk about what it's seen and been through, but its potential fate.
