Lacroix's sprint speed is 93+ and he is running without the ball. Of course he'll catch up to Frimpong.

Lots of gripes with these games but can tell when someone's clearly never played football. If a player faster than me is running a tighter angle and controlling a ball, then my chances of catching him even as a fat fuck are increased.

Ball slows you down, frimpong has high acceleration and sprint speed might be lower, lacroix will have low acceleration and same sprint speed as frimpong long distances sprints lacroix will catch up

Frimpong has the advantage over shorter distance, Lacroix over longer add in your pace is reduced when on the ball and the angles means the advantage was heavily favoured towards Lacroix so he caught up.
