I firmly consider myself just an entertainer. I'm just writing stories to entertain. I'm not trying to set your opinion or change your mind on anything. When you're done with one of my books, I want you to put it back on the shelf and say, "That was cool. I enjoyed reading that..." "I'm not here to solve a pessimism epidemic. All I can do is just be me. I'm not pessimistic. I think humans are really awesome. I think technology is really awesome because technology is then put into the hands of humans who are awesome." "People are afraid of AI, but AI can do things no human can. I'm like, "So can a forklift." If I give you a hammer, you could build a house or you could murder someone.
