They’re a travel team from Sacramento, California and they saw an elderly man in need and JUMPED to help him in 90 degree weather in Tualatin, Oregon! All in the name of God and being kind. What amazing, impressive young ladies. We need more of this!

Caged and used for breeding. Today they met their new mums and are off to Ireland 🇮🇪 I’ll never forget the smell of little Faith and Phoenix when we first rescued them from the cages they were in and used for breeding. It was wretched and poor little Faith’s eye was being eaten alive by maggots. 5 months later and after building them back up it was an incredibly special moment for them as their 2 new mums came all the way over from Ireland to collect them… ✈️ They will fly home together and be in Ireland for Christmas. The dogs are small enough that they can go in the cabin which is so nice for them. 💕 The two ladies live within 2 mins walk of each other and are great friends already. So Faith and Phoenix will be seeing each other on a regular basis. 🐶 I know the two dogs very well and I could sense they were different today. Maybe it was all the treats and toys the lovely ladies brought but I think it’s a bit more deep than that. They sensed something big and good was happening in their lives. We get so many knocks with dogs and setbacks. So to see these 2 little angels and so many wonderful people coming together and Melanie and Patsy coming across the world to give them a home is what it’s all about. A Christmas miracle for the 2 little ones 🥰🙏

The reason why we have some people desecrate the Eucharist like it is done in this video is because the Communion is given to them on their hands instead of the tongue. This is why in this video that was demonstrated, we can see how a woman put the Host in her pocket while the other took it to her pew and broke it into 2 to give to someone. To be honest, this video here riled me up because this is the reality of what happens when people are given the Communion on their hands instead of their tongues. I thank this priest for raising our awareness on this. Please, as Catholics, let us pay rapt attention to things like this. The Eucharist is the source and summit of our faith. So we should treat it with great reverence. If you see any communicant do any of these things these ladies did in this video, it is our duty to quickly raise alarm immediately. This is the worst one I've seen so far... In this video, we see the installation of six women to Mclean Presbyterian Church (PCA)’s women’s board. In this clip, you will see that… - They receive the same officer training. - They take the same vows as officers. - They served on all the same committees as the officers. - They come alongside the elders and deacons to assist them in shepherding the church. - They are nominated by the congregation and installed in front of the congregation in a Lord’s Day service, and take vows. Let's try, let's, all right, well, hey, good, good morning everyone. My name is Matt, and I serve as one of the pastors here. Uh, and the, the ladies standing before you this morning are our new members to our Board of Women. Uh, these, uh, individuals we're nominated by you, our congregation, around, uh, around the fall of last year. And they have gone through a rigorous training process, uh, where they've learned more about. Our doctrine, uh, the, the essentials of the Christian faith and, and what it is to, to serve and lead in Christ Church. Uh, our, our Board of women members go through the same training, uh, as our, as our elders and our deacons. Uh, and you just give, give everyone a wave and then I'll ask the, the installation questions. So we have, uh, Ashley Nettles, faith Goodwin, Margie Watkins, Molly Odell, uh, Molly Preston and Rachel Moore. And, uh, congratulations on making it through the, the officer training. It is no small feat, and we are excited about, uh, about you, uh, coming alongside our elders and deacons to help shepherd and care for our church. So, I have these questions for you, and if you just want to respond in the affirmative, be great. So, first question, uh, do you believe the scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as originally given to be the iner word of God? The only infallible rule of faith and practice. Do you? I do. Do you sincerely receive and adopt the confession of faith in the catechisms of this church as containing the system of doctrine taught in the holy scriptures? Do you, I do. Do you approve of the form of government and discipline of the Presbyterian church in America in conformity with the general principles of biblical polity? Do you. Do. Do you promise to serve on the board of women with love to God and a sincere desire to promote his glory in the gospel of his son? Do you? I do. Do you promise faithfully to perform all your assigned duties and to study the peace, unity, and purity of the church? Do you? I do. And do you promise to submit yourself in the Lord to the government of this church? Do you? So having affirmed all of these, these, uh, these questions, I now pronounce that Ashley Nettles Faith Goodwin, Margie Watkins, Molly O'Dell, Molly Preston and Rachel Moore have been installed as members of the Board of Women of McLean Presbyterian Church. Young boys are STARVED for strong positive male models. I spoke at career day at my daughter's school. I ended up speaking to 100 + high schoolers. I hit a few main points: 1) There aren't as many rules as THEY sell you. So long as you're willing to work hard, fail forward, & care 0% what AVERAGE people think..... no one can stop you from creating the life you want! 2) Being kind, likable, & encouraging of others is a massive advantage in business & life. Kindness has unlimited upside & zero downside. Treat everyone well, build others up, & focus on GIVING FIRST! 3) You can be a VICTOR or VICTIM, but you can never be both. Reject all forms of victimhood & excuses. Take EXTREME OWNERSHIP of your life!! 4) Be strong, masculine, lift weights, eat healthy, read, create more than you consume, & how you spend your free time will determine your success in life. I also mentioned my faith in every class. I told my story of making 7 figures in poker only to squander most of it. I told how I managed a bank, was unhappy doing it & decided to CREATE A JOB FOR MYSELF I LOVED. I told the young ladies about my wife & the reason I chose & married her was because she told me IF YOU WANT TO FALL IN LOVE WITH MY BODY, THEN YOU'LL HAVE TO FALL IN LOVE WITH MY HEART & MIND FIRST! She valued & respected herself. Nothing more attractive than that. We had pushups contests in every class & I invited any of the kids to come lift with me at my gym any morning. I went to college at 18 to be a teacher. I love being around kids - they give you energy & you can feel their untapped potential! I could see myself subbing/coaching & impacting young kids a lot in the next decade or so. We will see where God sends me. I'm willing to go!! 🙏❤️

15 years. That’s how long it has been since I saw my oldest son Christopher. 15 years since I heard his voice, saw him laugh or held him close. And today, July 24th, 2023 marks that date. That’s a long time to be separated from someone you love. Our son was called home unexpectedly 15 years ago today, and we miss him so much. He died in an automobile accident. It was the worst day of my life. But things have changed over the years. We have experienced the comfort that only God can give. I just baptized both of his daughters, Stella and Lucy. They are both beautiful young ladies now, following the Lord. This is a video that was part of a project we did 10 years ago titled, “Hope For Hurting Hearts”. It was only 5 years earlier that Christopher had gone home to Heaven. The pain was still raw, the void large, the emotions rising to the surface. It’s honest and at the same time, hopeful. In this video I say of the day we heard the worst news a parent could ever hear “Strangely in this dark place, God was there and I sensed His presence.” That is still true today. My hope is that for the Christian, death is not the end. I will see my son Christopher again. Maybe you have recently lost a loved one, and you don’t know how you will cope. God will be there for you too. Just call out to Him. Psalm 34:18 says that “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted: He rescues those whose spirits are crushed”. I have put this and many other passages to the test and found them all to be true. Thank for this great hope. Besides, we never really lose loved ones who have died in faith. You can’t lose someone if you know where they are.

Origins of Purple Rain, Purple Rain' was originally written as a country song, and was intended to be a collaboration with Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks. According to Nicks, she received a 10-minute instrumental version of the song from Prince, with a request to write the lyrics, but she felt overwhelmed by the task. She later said: "I listened to it and I just got scared. I called him back and said, 'I can't do it. I wish I could. It's too much for me.'" Prince then asked his backing band to try the song: "I want to try something before we go home. It's mellow." According to Lisa Coleman, Prince changed the song dramatically after Wendy Melvoin started playing the guitar to accompany the song: "He was excited to hear it voiced differently. It took it out of that country feeling. "Then we all started playing it a bit harder and taking it more seriously. We played it for six hours straight and by the end of that day we had it mostly written and arranged." Prince's explanation on the meaning of 'Purple Rain': "When there's blood in the sky – red and blue = purple... purple rain pertains to the end of the world and being with the one you love and letting your faith/god guide you through the purple rain." After recording the song, Prince phoned Journey member Jonathan Cain, to ask him to listen to it. Prince was concerned that it might be too similar to Journey's 'Faithfully', a song composed by Cain which had recently been in the US charts. However, Cain reassured Prince by saying that the songs only shared the same four chords. "I thought it was an amazing tune," Cain said.
