Many women create an ideal man in their heads: a “masculine, kind, in-charge man with no flaws.” The reality is, such men don’t exist. These men have flaws and set boundaries. A lot of women can’t handle being with a man who will call out their behavior, hold them accountable, and have standards about how they present themselves. When this reality sets in, it often turns into, “No one will tell me how to dress, where to go, or what to do.” The truth is, even if they find a man with 80% of what they want, they still can’t handle him.
