According to her, on July 24, 2026, her friend informed her roommate through a text message that she was going to meet a man named Wisdom. She also asked her roommate to message him so he would know someone was aware of her whereabouts. She claimed that shortly after the conversation, her friend's phone became unreachable. When the roommate later asked Wisdom if she had arrived, he reportedly replied, "No." She further claimed that after the missing lady told Wisdom that her roommate knew where she was going, he allegedly deleted his earlier picture, which is why they no longer have his photo. She added that both the missing lady's phone number and Wisdom's phone number have remained unreachable.

According to him, he met the young lady when she was three months pregnant. He explained that despite working as a block mould worker, he kept checking on her after work and made sure she had food and basic care throughout the pregnancy. When the pregnancy reached eight months, he reportedly travelled to her village in Ebonyi State with family members to inform her parents of his intention to marry her.
