𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗮𝗹𝘆 𝗚𝗔𝗔'𝘀 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝘅𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 ⓶⓪⓶⓹ As the whistle blew at the end of our minor championship and Jack Wyer hurling finals, it signalled the conclusion of our underage programme for 2024, with just our U13 Super 7s remaining in the morning. As we wrap up our games for the year, we want to take a moment to reflect on the journey we've had since March. Our season has been filled with excitement, running right through to this bank holiday weekend, culminating in a total of 1,002 games played. We were fortunate with the weather, allowing our games to proceed smoothly. A huge thank you to all the coaches from U8 to minor who trained each week, preparing their players and coaching them on match days. Your commitment is truly appreciated. We also extend our gratitude to all clubs for hosting games, as well as our officials and coaching and games staff who assisted during the latter stages of the programme. This initiative could not function without the invaluable support of our volunteers, coaches, club officials, and parents who travel to support their children. Congratulations to all winning teams, especially our U8 boys who completed their first year representing their clubs. Enjoy the rest of your break, and please see our planner for 2025 to help you book holidays and plan for the upcoming year. Please share…. 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒂 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒐𝒍𝒍 & 𝑲𝒆𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑺𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒚

Have you thought about your future?” 🗣️ Ayyoub Bouaddi: “My focus right now is completely on Morocco and the World Cup. This is the biggest tournament in football and I want to enjoy every moment of it. The future can wait.” 🎙️ Reporter: “But is there one club you dream of playing for?” 🗣️ Ayyoub Bouaddi: “I think every young player has a dream club. For me, Manchester United is a club that has always stood out. When you grow up watching football, you see the history, the atmosphere, the legends and everything that makes the club special. It is one of the biggest clubs in the world.” 🎙️ Reporter: “What attracts you to Manchester United?” 🗣️ Ayyoub Bouaddi: “The history. The supporters. The pressure that comes with wearing the shirt. I like challenges and Manchester United is the type of club where you have to prove yourself every single week. That motivates me. When I think about great midfielders, great European nights and the atmosphere at Old Trafford, it is something every footballer would love to experience.” 🎙️ Reporter: “So could you see yourself there one day?” 🗣️ Ayyoub Bouaddi: “Football is unpredictable, so you never know what will happen. But if you ask me honestly, Manchester United is definitely one of the clubs I would love to play for in the future. For now, though, my focus is helping Morocco have a great World Cup campaign “. {Radio Maisha }

These replies are why we fucking hate premier league fans, if you want to be treated like cattle by your clubs, fine. Don't judge us for owning our sport. This isn't just some random ultra, this is the 'leader' of all of SVDs fans. He's not berating them, he's motivating them, reminding them of the club situation, getting some fire into them. After a 6-0 bashing at home, they're not leaving mid game (like you guys always fucking do!), they've stayed, talked with the players, and next week they'll all be there for the away game supporting for a full 90 minutes again, so their club survives. "He should be kicked out immediately!" - no he fucking shouldn't, he's the voice of the fans, something you guys have let them take away from you. The players were asked what he said and if he berated them and they said no, he didn't, it was fair words and motivation. Again: -We own our clubs -We do NOT want to become the Premier League -If the choice is between irrelevancy (from outside Germany) and international fame/trophies, we will ALWAYS pick the first option. This is our league. Not Saudi Arabias League, not Todd Boehlys League, not some Sheiks League This is why we protested against the investor deal for weeks with tennis balls (and more), AND WON. This is why we will never accept 'clubs' like RB Leipzig. This is why this man is on the pitch talking to the players. We will do all we can to keep it this way. This is why your atmosphere is like a funeral compared to ours. Deal with it.

The government really needs to put its foot down and tackle this urban challenge of beggars in Lagos. I know that some are Nigerians, and a Nigerian is free to live anywhere in the country, and all that, but it is not the responsibility of the Lagos State Government to take care of every beggar in Nigeria. They should be sent back to their states. I understand talents from all over Nigeria and the rest of the world coming to Lagos to work, to hustle, and to do business. Fine,the state can accommodate as much talent as possible, and it is even expanding because more people will come. But anybody coming to Lagos without a plan or to beg should be sent back to their states. When you allow this to continue, it becomes an identity. You are already hearing things like “Abegistan.” Why allow people to come into the state and damage the reputation? There should be agreements with their state governments,send them back and let their governments take care of them. If their states cannot take care of highly skilled people, at least they should be able to take care of the indigent ones. Every state government should develop social housing and support systems for their own people. Lagos cannot carry everyone. Stop allowing people to abandon their citizens and shift the burden. For those who claim to be Lagosians, let their ancestry be properly verified. If they are truly from Lagos, the government should take them in, rehabilitate them, and put them into vocational training. After training, support them with jobs or small businesses. Because it doesn’t make sense to be paying for people from other states while your own people are struggling. This was what Govs. Fashola and Ambode tried to address because they understood the long-term effects. When people can’t walk freely without being approached by beggars, it affects the city. Lagos is one of the most visited city in Nigeria, especially for people coming from abroad. It should not have this kind of identity. Please, send them back to their states and let their governments take responsibility. Nobody can take care of everybody,you are not Father Christmas,people wont even appreciate in the end so its not worth it. Sola Giwa Oluwaseun Osiyemi Idris Connecting Nigeria Engr. Michael Owen on RB Leipzig rejecting Real Madrid’s €100 million bid for Yan Diomandé and demanding €130 million. 🗣️ “Rejecting a €100 million offer from Real Madrid for a player who’s only just broken into top-level football is astonishing. I don’t care how talented Yan Diomandé is that kind of valuation has to be earned over years, not after one breakthrough season.” “I like the player. I think he has enormous potential. But potential doesn’t automatically make you a €130 million footballer. Football has started paying for dreams instead of achievements, and that’s becoming a serious problem.” “The moment Real Madrid enter the race, some clubs completely lose perspective. Suddenly every exciting young talent is worth a record-breaking fee. That’s not smart business anymore—that’s simply overpricing the player.” “€100 million is already an incredible statement of belief from Real Madrid. Most young players can only dream of a club valuing them that highly. To reject that and immediately demand another €30 million feels completely disconnected from reality.” “If RB Leipzig genuinely don’t want to sell him, then come out and say he’s not for sale. But asking for €130 million after one outstanding season makes it look like they’re using Real Madrid’s interest to inflate the market beyond reason.” “Real Madrid aren’t buying a Ballon d’Or winner or a player who’s dominated Europe for five or six years. They’re buying a footballer with incredible promise. There is a huge difference, and transfer fees should reflect that.” “This is exactly why the transfer market is becoming harder every year. Clubs complain that fewer elite deals happen, yet they’re the ones putting impossible price tags on players who are still at the very beginning of their careers.” “Leipzig have every right to protect their asset, but rejecting €100 million for a player who has only just announced himself to world football is a huge gamble. If his development slows down or injuries arrive, people will look back and ask whether greed got in the way of common sense.”
