Lagos–Ore Road right now. The flooding has made it very difficult for both vehicles and pedestrians to pass. Praying for everyone’s safety. If

This is the state our road but they're wasting the relooted funds on coastal roads

It was terrible my friend coming to visit me slept on the road yesterday. She entered this morning. I didn't sleep all through the night I was praying and scared at the same time. She forwarded the video to me

Tinubu is working David Umahi is working Nigeria is shining Make I come de go abeg...

You must be disingenuous to call it Lagos-Ore Road. Is this not Ijebu-Ode-Ore-Benin Expressway? Must you people always distort issues. Soon, you would blame this natural cause as effect of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, which is the real motive of your misleading tweet.

Things like this is a signal of what is coming ahead but we are joking with it... The sea is giving signal that it wants to expand and it's sending some water to indicate where we should vacate but we are acting otherwise to its warnings

These are roads that were design and constructed in 1960. No upgrade and no maintenance. Tinubu is busy wasting time on new roads that will not be complete in 20 yrs from now. He his construction new roads so they can name them after Tinubu.

Where is professure umahi when you need him

Thank you for highlighting this. However, "Omi Nla" is a river in Ore that overflows when there is a heavy rain. Once the road median is removed, or lifted to create space underneath, the water will flow freely with less pressure.

Prayer will not help, this is an opportunity to create an engineering marvel. This phenomenom is not new but we lack thinkers in government in Nigeria. The outcome of this is that the road will breakdown in less than 9months

I see a lot of foolish comments under this post. Some people don't even know the difference between bad road and flood. I can't say more than this. Government should take a proper preparation for what's coming Bcs the sea will fight back it has to create path for itself.

The river called "Omi Nla" usually overflows during heavy rain and flows to the road. I have experienced it severally. I am from Ore while my progenitors are from Odigbo, the founders of Ore.

Since God decided to give Nigeria a country without natural disaster and the politicians are making the people poorer, looting Billions everyday and using the lives of innocent Nigerians play politics tru death. Nature has decided to go against the wicked LAC govt

So for 24years Federal Government couldn't fix this road. Which way Nigeria.

😭😭😭 Chude, no be small suffer yesterday. Was here live and direct. Got here 2pm and left 10pm. It was crazy

Year to year nothimg is been done to this roads and new ones are been constructed when the old ones are in a bad shape.l curse this govt

This is why nothing can take me to Lagos, it's very evident the city will be swapped by water worse than this sooner than sooner. Overpopulation, water filling, waste - so much wrong with Lagos unprovoked.

Lagos–Ore Road has officially entered “survival of the strongest” mode 😂😭. At this point, drivers are no longer driving—they’re auditioning for Fear Factor: Nigerian Edition. 🚗🌊 The flooding is largely linked to heavy rainfall, poor drainage, blocked waterways and inadequate flood-control infrastructure. Government needs to stop treating flooding like a seasonal surprise. 🌧️😂 Every year: “We are working on it.” Every rainy season: “The road is working on us.” 😭😂 Prayers for everyone on the road, but honestly, we need drainage and proper road maintenance—not only prayers and press releases. 🇳🇬

Thank God for that barricade, it would have swept cars and people away if that was not there.

Why is there lagos in your statement where does, a lagos to ore road exist?

After ApC supporters will say it’s AI

They should just look for turbine and start generating electricity from this road. I hate what my country has become..

Don’t worry the coastal road will run over the road and solve the problem

"Don't worry, when we are done with Lagos Calabar Coastal Road, all these shall stop"...

Then de villages go don overflow

It's the fault of the rain. Why will it be falling very heavily? Does it not know the nature of the roads it is falling on? 😂 😂

Tinubu parted the Atlantic ocean.

Na coastal road cause am.. 🤡🤡🤡

Where is the oga professor of pratice Dr Umahi? Is this not what Senator Oshiomole and PO was talking about? A decade of APC renewed hopelessness and cluelessness. Yeye dey smell.😒🇳🇬

I slept on that road yester night. Very terrible!

People underestimate water too much, that flood can fast in seconds and wash away everything in its track.

My brother that left Lagos last is yet to reach Enugu, he said there's heavy traffic on the road.

Instead of Tinubu to fix this road he is busy constructing Coastal road that they will never be completed until 30years time.

No be the new hydroelectric Dam Tinubu build ? ? Na question I ask oh

This is serious. Rainfall?

If your electric sensor spoil for here, you go too cry ehn
