Good morning and where do I start? I’m so proud of the man you’re becoming and I’m so thankful to have you in my life. The first player I met and the first player I had dinner with after I became the receivers coach at Baylor. Yes I’m speaking it into existence but it’s also the feeling I have when I tell you God truly has a calling on your life. The person you are lets me know the lord is and will continue to bless you more than you can imagine. I love you like a son, little brother, nephew, etc…. Played receiver for a big time program like Baylor, played in the NFL, from the great state of Texas but more importantly a GREAT person and man of God. So you have all the tools you need to be successful in this coaching profession but more importantly LIFE! I’m so thankful to be a part of your journey. I’m going to do EVERYTHING in my power with the help of God to make sure you succeed. I told you this and I truly believe it. You’re the next great coach/receivers coach. The way people treat us does impact how we see ourselves. Past partners made me feel like I was easy to forget and even easier to let go of. Most of them made me feel so unimportant after pursuing me when I initially wasn’t interested. I’m learning the way people treat me reflects how I feel about myself because if I believe that a man that can move on from me easily was ever meant to be with me- then I’m not respecting what a treasure it is to be let into my heart. When a partner leaves they only leave you better off. In loving myself, my work is forgiving myself for not trusting my gut. My heart knows what’s meant for me and that’s holding myself, my body, and my love in the highest regard. Don’t tolerate less than what you deserve. Don’t settle. We’re so much better than that. Leaving you with this reminder: no matter what anyone says about your body it is a sacred vessel that lets you impact people and have your life be your message 🖤

This is for the person who struggles with their body image. You are not alone. All the time, I wish I had even a tiny bit of consistent confidence in my body. You know what I’ve realized? I can love myself no matter what my body looks like. I can trust myself no matter my size. I can care for myself no matter what other people think of me. Can I say how hard that is when people tear me down in comments or messages? To still love myself regardless of how I’m treated? That’s a mission. It’s actually the mission we’re all on. My body can be sacred to me even if I’m self-conscious about it. Sometimes I wear something so beautiful that it reminds me that I’m beautiful too… Because what’s on the inside is what will radiate to the outside. Every day, I focus on being kind or sharing a helping hand. My body is a vessel for what I believe to be true about the world and that’s that everyone can make a difference- big or small. In a world of unfortunate circumstances- here’s a reminder: we are not defined by our circumstances but by our courage to redefine our circumstances. What holds us back is US not recognizing IT. What is “it?” Your power. Our own fears are weaponized. Have you ever heard of someone achieving greatness taking the easy way? Success often replicates and copies what has already been done. We get the opportunity to make something of what was once great for someone else, our own success. It’s hard to follow easy things when you chase hard. There is absolutely 0 cheat code to winning. Hard isn’t natural. It’s uncomfortable and you learn a lot about yourself when you’re in the dark, broke, depressed, anxious, no sleep, 0 recognition, etc. Stop chasing what can be bought. Start chasing what can be remembered when you’re not here. When we die, the Louis Vuitton bag won’t be coming with us.

Perrie admits she’s “frustrated” by how Jesy Nelson has portrayed the breakdown of her relationship with Little Mix, adding that she feels the group consistently tried supporting Jesy at the cost of their own mental health, and that accountability should be taken on all sides: “Sometimes you just won’t win with people. And what annoys me the most… I have to be careful how I say this because I don’t want to seem like a bitch… But what upsets me the most when situations like this happen is when the other person doesn’t take any accountability. That boils my blood. I’m not blaming everything on you [Jesy]. I’m not saying, ‘She’s this fucking monster and everything was her fault’ and blah blah blah. But take some accountability for your actions and realise you were difficult. You did have difficult moments. Granted, there were reasons for those moments... but you can only pick somebody up so many fucking times before you start losing track of your own sanity. You want to be there for that person, but if they can’t accept the help and they can’t accept the love you’re trying to show, how do you win? You can’t. I hate that. I don’t like putting the blame on people. Don’t put the blame on me and make me out to be something that I’m not. Yes, I’m not perfect. I might not have been there enough, or I could have done better I suppose… but I thought what I was doing was enough. I thought I’d tried everything. So to then sit there in further interviews and discuss it publicly and be like, ‘I wasn’t supported’… You were, though. You were. So just take some accountability and I’ll feel better about it.
