100% this. Not a customer/conversion site, simply a fancy presentation and flex for a small set of investors and stakeholders

Easiest way to confuse customers is to hire design agency to make your landing page.

These fancy websites convert worse than a simple one pager

i thought it was beautiful. the guy poured his soul into that experience (is it conversion optimal? probably not. but it is art)

Thing is gross.

This is the definition of getting lost in the sauce. Websites need to focus on what their purpose is.
