I don't think running directly into the contain man is gonna work at the next level. Guy has Trent Richardson's vision at QB.

Dunno. Is each of those broken tackles a sack in the NFL?

Am I crazy to think that many plays like these are not because of the QBs ability but because defenders can’t tackle QBs without getting a flag thrown?

A lot of what we see with LaNorris Sellers is his need to escape the pocket—most of which is caused by an obvious lack of protection, empty sets without max protection, and long-developing routes combined with receivers not getting separation and no outlets to dump it off to and when he has that, he is moved off his spot so fast, he can’t get back to the outlet. I haven’t dug deep into his tape yet, but just in this one clip, he’s living his life in the scramble drill as a creator—which is nice, but that’s not the life you want to live in the NFL. That kind of play in college leads to holding the ball too long and a player losing faith in what he sees in his progressions, taking off too early.
