Larry David always had it in for Ted Danson.

I don't think they woulda just done 22 yrs of curb if they really didn't like each other Larry is a bigger star than Ted by a mile imo, which makes Curb dynamic interesting. I think Ted is making fun of himself a bit with the role he agreed to

it seems more like Ted was the biggest comedy star when Larry was coming up AND the most handsome so he’s the platonic ideal in Larry’s mind to make fun of.
