NEW: Dog that was ditched at a cemetery in New York with a slit throat is now up for adoption, has made a full recovery. 60-year-old Anita Martin was smacked with animal cruelty charges after leaving the 1-year-old dog tied up at a Yonkers cemetery. The dog was found with an 8-inch gash on his throat. The SPCA Westchester rescue center says the dog, Frankie, has fully recovered. "His tail never stops wagging. Frankie is a true testament to resilience, strength, and unwavering positivity," they said. "After being cruelly dumped in Yonkers with a severe cut to his throat, Frankie endured unimaginable pain. Well, he has been found, but he was found dead, Nigeria failed him, these inbred demons k!lled him, he was declared dead in the Hospital. So I have to tell you what is going on in my life. This last month has been overwhelming for me. By that I mean that I just didn't want to go on after Vinnie died. He wasn't the first to leave me but he was different. When my illness got worse, Vinnie wouldn't leave me. I just didn't have a reason to care anymore. I started looking online at adoptable Chihuahuas and thought I had found one here in Oregon but was turned down because I couldn't take her for 2-3 walks a day and because I didn't have a large attached yard. A "X" friend found this little guy in Texas. The rescue has waved his adoption fee and my "X" friend is paying for the transportation cost. Please welcome "Tank". He left Texas this morning and should be here by Sunday. His family surrendered him (at age 9) to a high kill shelter and a small rescue was able to pull him. Now he will be with me for the rest of his life. He does have cataracts but I am hoping to find help with surgery through large discounts at Oregon Humane because of my age and with help from my Vet if he needs it. Right now he isn't at that point. He had two lumps removed and is cancer free. I hope that Vinnie would approve because Tank isn't replacing him. No one will ever replace him. I will let you know when he gets here.

At long last, RHP John Holobetz (GG #14) is headed to Triple-A Worcester. Finally some statcast data — that sinker will turn some heads. The 23yo has posted a 2.70 ERA/2.13 FIP with a 0.90 WHIP and 30% K-BB rate over his last five starts (23.1 IP). He started the year off on a scorching hot note, cooled off a bit, but has now found his groove again. K% and SwStr% are up a ton this year but cStr% is a tad bit down. I’d like to see a 30% CSW rate in AAA. Velo is up. Moldable clay in the arsenal. High floor thanks to his strike-throwing ability. Holobetz is another metric darling arm. I’m super pumped. Top 10 prospect in the org right now (meaning next update, post-deadline).
