I spent $250,000 in China and laughed in disbelief. Why do people hate Chinese manufacturing so much? I constructed a new 15k factory floor; US cost would be $1,000,000. They are bracing for a potentially difficult week ahead. So they try to share only good vibes. They remind each other not to be negative, not to gossip. They greet each other with extra warmth. Arrived on another cruise ship last night to deliver my talk this week. I know they look fun but i honestly dread these work gigs. I hate being away from home and my routine. What’s made this worse was I didn’t get ANY sleep last night as my room appears to be next to the thrusters. (Sound on for my videos)I had noise cancelling headfones in but even they couldn’t drown out the noise. Zero sleep, one complaint later…apparently I can’t change rooms…went for lunch….same shaking noise…oh well at least it’s sunny…or B… I’m not looking for a ‘poor me’ sympathy response…but genuinely I feel like I’m over sensitive to noise these days, especially when trying to sleep. Not sure if others who have come through PTSD feel the same??? But it really unhinges me and very quickly. I can’t seem to find a ‘safe’ space on this ship..a moment of calm for my brain. 😔😩

I used to ask my New York friends Who were living in nyc check to check With a 80- 100k a year salary Why not move down south Where you can make that 100k Really feel like 100k And you can have a home a yard And more luxuries And they loved nyc so much that even though it made logical sense to move They would rather struggle And say “I live in NYC” Than ball and say I live in “Charlotte, Savannah, Charleston” Which would give them a better quality of life It took me a while to realize that The big city is so much a part of their identity Even if its pricing them out and has them living next to mice It’s so much apart of them that if they can’t say “I live in nyc” to someone who doesn’t They would lose part of their whole identity I say all that to say Chicago people are the same way

For people who think U-turns on narrow roads are a problem, check out this clip from Nagaland when I visited last year. They form a SINGLE LINE on right lane for making U-turn. No crowding at the U-turn, no cutting lanes, no honking. Everyone waiting patiently for their turn in Q. If they can do it why can't we? As I keep saying, it all comes down to 'driver behaviour'. If you fix driver error with good Driver education even our traffic can improve. MORTHINDIA is spending 2.70 LAKH CRORE Rupees each year on improving infrastructure but nothing on improving driver behaviour. There in lies the flaw... #RoadSafety
