Was the Tesla in self-driving mode or autopilot? It can’t be both yet ABC News said so. Makes me question the legitimacy of this article. Tesla can easily investigate what really happened and I’m sure we will find out soon.

Tesla Self-Driving 14.1.2 avoids potholes in the Pacific Palisades, which burned down in the LA fires earlier this year Extremely impressive! Last time I came here, I had to take over to avoid driving on the bad sections of the road. Now the car did it itself.

It is even weird to me to see a car driving with no humans on San Francisco freeways. People forget that I had the first video of a Waymo 15 years ago. Well, back then it was a Google R&D car. In fact it was the first video of any autonomous vehicle on public roads in the world posted on YouTube. Back then there were four people in the car so I didn’t realize it was a self-driving car. In fact it took six more months for anyone to figure out that Google was doing R&D on the freeways here. I shot this from my Tesla on the way to tonight’s big AI party in San Francisco. My Tesla was self-driving too, but can’t yet drive without a human in the car. With human=supervised. Without human=unsupervised. I will link to the original video in replies.

I just want to put this out there. FSD is worth every penny. My entire family plus my brother, late night driving home from a wonderful trip to Greece, meeting with good friends of Tesla Universe. While on the way home. My husband engaged FSD. Navigated to home. Just left the airport in Denver. I was in the back seat of our model X with both my sons. My husband in the drivers seat my brother in the front passenger seat. I started to doze off suddenly was awoken by the car jerking. Only to see what appeared to be a driver of the other car falling asleep at the wheel. It was sometime between 1-2 am. FSD took over and moved us from harm. I’ve never seen it do a maneuver like this before. It was amazing. It saved our lives. I highly recommend purchasing this feature. You might need it someday. Elon Musk 𝙺𝚒𝚖𝚋𝚊𝚕 𝙼𝚞𝚜𝚔 🤠 Tesla So shout out to the hard working people at Tesla for keeping us all safe. Also please get this feature out to the countries/territories that don’t have access yet. They need it just like we do.

Just came back from my FSD demo drive It was insane , confident, smooth I could say it drives better than the average driver ! The 44-year-old driver of the Tesla Model 3 was transported to a local hospital after the incident. The driver told investigators that an automated driving assistance system was engaged at the time of the crash.
