Beckenham was once a lovely area. Now it’s just another example of how quickly decline takes hold.

No media outlet is reporting on this, not even the police. Our institutions have completely failed us, and the police can no longer be relied upon to help keep people safe.

A few years ago I read a brilliant book called ‘Last Light’ by the author @AlexScarrow. It was a prophecy of what is unfolding now. The sequel ‘Afterlight’ is probably what comes next. Everyone should read it.

Used to be a nice area!! I drove through Downham at end of school day couple of years ago and was shocked that the only white person was a man and baby crossing in front of us!! I don’t know how we turn things around.
