When I started at ESPN, I was a mix of emotions but mostly thankful for the opportunity to continue to do what I love on the biggest stage. My time with ESPN has come to an end for right now, but I am forever grateful for the lessons learned and the family I gained. Today is finally the day I, having gone through the period as a trainee, officially become an artist as Yeonjun from TXT~ 🦊 It’s such a happy and meaningful day for me, I’ve been waiting for this moment for a really long time I started training and dancing when I was in my third year of middle school and since then I’ve been growing my dream of becoming a singer. I’ve just been running towards it and before I knew it, 5 years had passed ! And today, that dream finally came true. It’s a moment I’ve longed for so desperately, one I’ve really been waiting for 🦊 Earlier, while filming, I kept thinking back as I watched myself on camera, it made me remember all the times I trained, pushed myself, went through evaluations with the members, worked hard and the effort I put into improving.. all of it just flashed through my mind at once The memories all passed through my mind like frames in a film and in the middle of it, I felt a strong swell of emotions in my heart and in the end, I couldn’t hold it in and it just burst out It was such an emotional and happy day for me 🦊 The tears I’ve shed up until now were a mix of desperation and the desire to achieve my dream but today after such a long time, I finally shed tears of joy. This felt like a solid goodbye to a part of me that grew up with Kanye at every step of the way, every important stepping stone moment of my life, I always had Kanyes music to help me through it. Some heartbreaking, dark and beautiful times. I never cried at a concert before in my life but I did last night because I was able to recognize that in the moment. From prayers to promises fulfilled. ✨⚖️ “And if one day I make it, Lord, it was You, not me.” 🥹 Working full-time while raising a toddler and reviewing for the Bar was not easy. I only studied at night while my baby is asleep. Most nights I’ll be awake from 10 PM–2 AM, then up again at 6 AM. I failed twice but rose on the third attempt. The hardest part was leaving my child for two weeks before the exams, the longest we’ve ever been apart. There were moments I wanted to give up, I cried every night, but remembering why I started and the people who believed in me kept me going. It was exhausting. It was scary. But God never left me. I took a leap of faith, and He met me there. Forever grateful for my family and friends, my support system since day one, who never gave up on me even when I almost surrendered, including my dear grandparents in heaven. It truly takes a village to raise a lawyer. This victory proves that if God gave you a dream, He will sustain you to achieve it, even if you stumble or fail along the way. God’s timing is perfect. Never early, never late. Not sure if it’s a coincidence, but the 7th has always been special: my child’s birthday and now the day I passed the Bar. Long Journey. 2025 didn’t start the way I planned, but God’s plan was already in motion. From the very beginning of this season of life, He covered me, guided me, and carried my family through moments we couldn’t have handled on our own. Watching my son Wesley walk through a battle no parent expects shifted my heart, my priorities, and my purpose. This season, football became more than a game, it became a place where God allowed me to refocus, stay disciplined, and remain present. Every snap, every rep, every challenge was an opportunity to trust Him deeper. When life felt heavy, He gave me strength. When the path felt unclear, He gave me direction. When I felt weak, He reminded me where my help comes from. The 2025 season with the Jacksonville Jaguars was a journey of growth, faith, and perseverance. Not just on the field, but in life. God kept showing up in big and small ways, pouring out blessings even in the middle of adversity. And I know He’s not finished yet. We’ve come a long way, but the journey continues. I’m grateful for where we are, trusting God for where we’re going, and walking forward with faith knowing His promises never fail. When I felt weak, He reminded me where my help comes from. The 2025 season with the Jacksonville Jaguars was a journey of growth, faith, and perseverance. Not just on the field, but in life. God kept showing up in big and small ways, pouring out blessings even in the middle of adversity. And I know He’s not finished yet. We’ve come a long way, but the journey continues. I’m grateful for where we are, trusting God for where we’re going, and walking forward with faith knowing His promises never fail. All glory to Him, for what He’s done, what He’s doing, and what He’s about to do.
