Last session, for the first time in our history, the General Assembly put a spending cap on emergency response. There should never be a cap on helping Kentuckians in need.

Wrong, We don't have unlimited resources. NEVER, EVER trust a Democrat with your TAX MONEY. They allocated / re-appropriated more money this session. If more money is needed, call them back into session.

… do you know how a budget works? You can’t spend more than you make. That’s finance 101 If more is needed above the cap, an emergency session can be called and reallocated. But without a budget and cap, OUR tax money will be wasted in your hands.

Emergency response shouldn't be a chance to fill your pals' pockets with KY taxpayer cash, and a spending cap will help KY taxpayers. Kentuckians don't need a nanny state government in an emergency. Citizen organizations respond better and faster.
