A mother Tasmanian Tiger and it’s cute cubs in 1909

This very Thylacine died in captivity due to neglect. It was left outside with no shelter, exposed to extreme cold at night, and extreme heat during the day. The last of its species was subjected to inhuman treatment by humans. No surprise there.

We can rebuild him

Those things had HUGE heads, and their jaws opened almost 90 degrees 😮

I have a book called “Tasmanian Friends and Foes” from 1881 that still had a section devoted to them.
