@m240brrrrr I can get XTAC 308 for 50 cents that’s not an issue, the issue is that a semi auto 240B costs 13,000 bucks.

@m240brrrrr Eh, it’s never really been profitable to sell cheap belt feds to civilians until recently. The NFA screwed that up and we’ve been stuck with ARs until the courts ruled that FRTs aren’t machine guns.

@m240brrrrr What’s messed up is that a machine gun now under the NFA has to be closed bolt. Which completely screws up the design of most of these belt feds bc they’re designed to be open bolt. I guess that’s why they’re so pricey now either way me and my guy are designing a 308 upper anyway

@m240brrrrr If you’ve shot a full auto 240 how would you say the recoil compares to your project? It looks a bit less smooth and controlled and more jumpy, but I guess that’s not exactly a worry with supressive fire.

Yep. A few ideas but one sticks out the most. No modification to the firearm, just the parts I made.

Nah, but when I do I’ll invite ya, just byob 🤣 Did 700 rounds yesterday between two barrels. Only one failure to extract due to a busted rim. No other failures or malfunctions. I expect to see cookoffs on 5.56 beltfeds before this. Higher ROF and longer belts.

I saw the other night you said you might try to spice up the ROF, but this vid here sounds pretty good as is. I bought an HCAR from OOW about two months before GarandThumb dropped his HCAR vid and the price shot up by 1500 bucks, and I was salivating over this girl in your vids. Decided against it because she was a closed bolt single action. But if your project here had been available back then? I might have had to think a little harder. 🤣🤣🤣
