Together with the Dënesųłiné, the Ininew, and our federal partners, we’re protecting the Seal River Watershed — one of the last intact ecosystems on Earth — through a nation-to-nation-to-nation approach. Today, that means a $4 million endowment to protect these lands and waters for generations. Because in Manitoba, growing our economy and protecting our environment go hand in hand.

As the referendum lead, my message is clear. The status quo needs to change. For the past 10 years this federal Liberal government has introduced policies that have slowed down Alberta’s economy, prevented pipeline projects and undermined our province. I believe in a strong Alberta within a united Canada. In the coming months, with my new role as referendum lead, I will listen to the concerns of Albertans and ensure that we can address the root causes of western alienation and fight for a stronger Alberta within a united Canada. I am proud to be an Albertan and a Canadian. I will continue to call on Mark Carney’s Liberal Government to listen to Albertans and to take the necessary steps to unite our country and strengthen our province. It’s time to act.

Today we announced 16 brand new school projects in our smaller cities and rural areas across Alberta, on top of 63 already underway outside Calgary and Edmonton. Parents know our classrooms have to keep pace with a fast growing province, and if Budget 2026 is passed it will fund the new spaces we need to reduce crowding now and keep class sizes stable into the future.
