how long can the videos be? Is there a limit?

Right now it's up to 4 minutes. You could obviously do multiple videos with the same voice and stitch them together if you wanted. The biggest factors here would be: 1) accuracy - with a 4 minute video, there's more opportunities for a mispronunciation or garbled text on screen etc. I've seen some awesome one-shot 4 minute videos already. But there's still a higher chance of a mess up. 2. Related to that, right now the new VidGen model doesn't have an edit feature where you can regen specific scenes. Coming soon, but obviously if something gets messed up it's annoying. 3. Cost. The cost per minute isn't actually that bad. With Elite plan of StefanBrain you get 40 minutes of generated video, and the plan is $999. So even if you didn't use SB for anything else, that's about $25 per minute. Might sound high, but if you just got one-shot ads for $25...that's actually pretty nuts. Where it could be annoying is if you generate 5 videos that are 4 minutes long each, and some of them have mispronunciations or issues, and you can't regen those clips. In that case you'll be frustrated and like you wasted money. Hope that makes sense and helps (and you can always come do a trial at no cost!)

Chamath: Anthropic's Mythos Warning Is Theater @jason: “Chamath, is it the Boy who Cried Wolf, or is this the real deal now?” Chamath Palihapitiya: “I think it's mostly theater. In February of 2019 when Dario was still at OpenAI, they did the same thing with GPT-2. That was a 1.5 billion parameter model, which sounds like a total fart in the wind in 2026. But at that time, this model was supposed to be the end of days. And at the end of it, it was a huge nothingburger. If you actually think that Mythos is capable of doing what it says it can do, two things are true. One is, a very sophisticated hacker can probably do those things right now with Opus. And two, if these exploits are this easy to find, whether you use Opus or whether you use Mythos, the reality is you'd have to shut down the internet for about five years to patch them all. So when you see a large multi-trillion dollar GSIB bank, it's a bit of theater. Why? What do you think they can actually accomplish in two months? Do you actually think that if there's these vulnerabilities, it's all going to get fixed? Let's give them six months, let's give them nine months. So I do think that Sacks is right, that they have figured out a very clever go-to-market muscle here that activates hyper attention and hyper usage, and so I give them tremendous credit. So there's one timeline in which we go boots on the ground or try to actually go for the nuclear capacities or try to do regime change via boots on the ground. Incredible last few minutes of the Rick Rubin / Adam Neumann interview. I got chills listening to this. --- Adam: We'll connected to this week's portion. We all have something that we're slaves to. We all have an addiction to anger, to ego, to power, whatever it is, idol worship that we have. We all have an Egypt. We all need to leave that Egypt, come out of it. When we come out of that Egypt, we all face a Red Sea. When we see that Red Sea, we all need to have the courage to walk into it so far that we drown. Only when we're willing to drown will the Red Sea be split and we'll go to our next level. We then go to our next level. We see the Red Sea split. Suddenly we're like, oh, everything is okay. And we forget. The moment we forget, we step into the desert. We all have to walk through our version of desert. That desert is between us, us, and God. No one else. The only decision we get to have is how long we're going to journey through that desert. Are we going to journey for 14 days like the children of Israel were supposed to? Or are we going to journey for 40 years because we're not learning our lesson? Our choice is not, are we going to get into the desert or not? It's how long will we be in. And once we go out of that desert, we all have our version of the promised land. And if we have the courage to look inside, see our own correction, our own limitation, look at it clearly now and say, I see you, and I'm going to get over it. I'm going to learn. I'm going to grow. This video has several images you can screen shot later in the video to share with people in your community. If you text 10 people 2 of them voted. Tell em we already know you didn’t go, so #PullUp tomorrow before work, on your lunch, or after work. This state is over 34% Black, all we have to do is show up. There are enough white, Latino, and Asian voters who think we can do better. We just need to be the lions share. Louisiana isn’t a red state, it’s an underfunded, low Black voter turnout state. And so there are a lot of advantages to the Moon. The Moon’s gravity well is much lower than Earth’s, so when you get materials from the Moon, you can lift them off the Moon using about 28 times less energy per kilogram than is needed to lift something off Earth.

Chris Camillo reveals the only way out for a regular person to build generational wealth. If you are a regular person with a regular job, the only crack you have at this is coming to terms with the fact that you can be a great investor. You can just do it on the side and have fun with it. You do not have to work with technicals. You do not need to be a pedigreed Wharton grad. You do not even have to understand finance at all, especially in the day of AI. All you have to do is figure out how to observe the world around you. You just connect the dots of change to companies that are either benefiting or being harmed by the change you see happening. Most of that seeing is simply watching videos on TikTok and reading comments. If that is not a fun way to make money, I do not know what is.

If you are a regular person with a regular job, the only crack you have at this is coming to terms with the fact that you can be a great investor. You can just do it on the side and have fun with it. You do not have to work with technicals. You do not need to be a pedigreed Wharton grad. You do not even have to understand finance at all, especially in the day of AI. All you have to do is figure out how to observe the world around you. You just connect the dots of change to companies that are either benefiting or being harmed by the change you see happening. Most of that seeing is simply watching videos on TikTok and reading comments. If that is not a fun way to make money, I do not know what is.

I asked Garry Tan how to use meta prompting to get better at AI: "My partners at YC Jared Friedman and Pete Koomen showed me how to do this. You can take almost anything that you do all the time and just drop it into a context window. And then say, “Here’s a bunch of inputs and outputs." And maybe you also add a bunch of notes. And then you tell it, “Write me a prompt that can act as an agent that takes this input and makes this output over here.” You can do this for almost any type of knowledge work. And you can even introspect. "What are things you notice that I did to convert this from the input to the output?”. And then you can just start using the prompt. Initially, it’s going to suck. Because it’s just not that smart yet. But what’s funny is now, I also use it to Iterate my writing. You can be very direct, "I would never say that", "Don’t say it like this", or "Oh, you used the long word there, use the short word". Just speak to it conversationally. And then when you're happy with the output, you can use that new output to make a new prompt. "Based on this conversation, give me a better initial prompt that incorporates all the things we talked about." And you can do this with literally everything. And in theory, there’s so much it applies to that people do day-to-day. You could use it for tweets. You could use it for editing podcasts. You can use it for pretty much everything. I have a folder of prompts that I use all the time. My YouTube prompt is on v27 or something. I'll go through this process with all the different max models. I'll use GPT 5.2 Pro. I’ll use Grok. I'll use Claude. Then, I’ll take all the outputs from all the models and put them into Claude and say "Here’s my prompt, here’s the output from four LLMs, including yourself. Rate each response and tell me what the pros and cons of each approach are." And I usually say "give it to me in numbered form". And then you can agree with one, disagree with two, tell it three is this or that. And then after that, you say given all of this, synthesize it."
