Last week, we shared a refresher on our favorite Flow features. Today, we're doing a deep dive into prompting with a few tips on how to craft the optimal prompt, create your dream video, and #FindYourFlow 🕺 Clearly identify your characters or objects and describe their movements 🎥 Frame... your shot with compositional terms like "wide shot" or “close-up" and direct the camera with instructions like "tracking shot" or "aerial view" 💡The lighting and environment set the entire mood. Instead of "a room" use more descriptive terms like "a dusty attic filled with forgotten treasures, a single beam of afternoon light cutting through a grimy window" 🧸 Flow is not limited to realistic visuals. You can experiment with a wide array of animation styles like "stop motion" or "knitted animation" 🗣️ With Veo 3, you can include sound effects and dialogue in your prompt. @GoogleLabs #Veo3 Some major fixes are needed for Google Flow: Implement 9:16 aspect ratio support for Veo 2, and if possible, for Veo 3 as well. Enable frames-to-video functionality for Veo 3 Fast. In the extension feature, ensure that extended video generation supports both Veo 2 and Veo 3, rather than only Veo 2.

It’s a bug in Flow currently, when you try to extend a video , it generates the video with Veo2 instead of Veo3, which is why there’s no sound

So Runway Gen 4.5 finally adds image-to-video, the workflow most pros rely on for consistency. We put it head to head with Kling AI and Flow by Google VEO using the same reference images and prompts (below) to evaluate motion quality, stability, and cinematic realism. 1. Action/WaterPhysics Test Prompt: Cinematic, wide-shot of a man running in a shallow river. The camera is tracking the man from behind as he runs up the river. Handheld camera shake as the camera follows the man. 2. Fire Physics Test Prompt: Cinematic, wide-shot of terrified woman running towards her burning barn. Here is a fun idea to try. You can create these images with giant people/animals using Nano Banana Pro. Just adjust the elements in brackets and have fun! If you have the option to generate at 4K, definitely use it as it makes the tiny people look crisper. These types of images seem to animate best with Veo 3.1 from testing, but you can try with Kling 2.6 or Grok Imagine as well so have some fun! Feel free to show me your giant humans/animals. 🍌Universal Prompt: A highly detailed, photorealistic [CAMERA ANGLE, e.g., wide-angle shot, aerial shot looking down, extreme low-angle looking up] showing a colossal [DESCRIBE THE PERSON & CLOTHING] positioned in [SPECIFIC LOCATION/CITY/LANDSCAPE].
