Thoughts Out Loud With all due respect, honestly — what exactly did this forum achieve? Neither this one, nor the next ten, will stop Putin’s missiles, protect people from drone attacks at night, defeat corruption, or guarantee freedom, security, and a decent life in the country. They won’t make the country stronger from within. So what’s the point? While you’re busy posing with guests, people in Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv are being rounded up on the streets like cattle — is this the new government policy? To humiliate, break, and squeeze out your own taxpayers? Don’t you think it’s time to stop “foruming” and start working? Sumy region is just 18 km from the city. What’s next? Focus on the country inside. Put corrupt officials behind bars. Corruption during wartime is looting. Take care of the displaced. Where do people go when they flee the frontline? Who’s helping them? Or are they left on their own? The time for meaningless forums is over. The country doesn’t need a show. People need order, confidence, and security — as much as possible under the circumstances. Get to work.

During our conversation, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis Kyriakos Mitsotakis and I discussed ways to expand the security space in the Black Sea, as well as protect the frontlines and all of our cities, including Odesa. Ukraine requires more air-defense systems. We were also briefed on the operation of the grain corridor and the security situation in the Black Sea. It is critical to strengthen the security of the port infrastructure. We also spoke with the military command about the current situation in the Odesa region and on the southern frontline, as well as measures to counter the Russian fleet. I am grateful to Greece for assisting our state and society in protecting life.

It is very symbolic that our meeting with representatives of Ukrainian Jewish organizations took place in a Kyiv school: a Ukrainian school where children study Hebrew and Jewish culture among other things. This is one of the many reflections of how rich Ukraine is in its diversity. For obvious security reasons, we held today's meeting in the shelter of this school. We discussed the ways to tell the world more truth about Russian aggression and our needs. It is important that everyone who really has influence helps us, helps us to protect the sky, our cities, and all the children of Ukraine. I am grateful to everyone who invests their own time, strength, and energy in Ukraine.

A demonstration in support of Russia and "Novorossiya" was held in the center of Paris on Saturday, December 2. The protesters called to stop supplying military aid to Ukraine. The Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in the Jos High Court validated my return as the duly elected candidate of the 18th March 2023 Governorship election in Plateau State. I want to thank God Almighty who made it possible; I want to thank the people of Plateau State who have stood by us. I want to thank the Lordships for having the heart to do according to the detects of their conscience and according to the law. This will be a significant event that will build on our Defense Industries Forum in September. The forum in Washington, D.C., as well as our work on defense production in Ukraine and the United States, will further its success. I am grateful to the United States, President Biden and his team, the US Congress and both parties that support Ukraine. My special gratitude goes to American defense companies and partners in Europe—all those who defend freedom in practice. This is the time for us to achieve maximum results in order to make sure that the lifetimes of our children and grandchildren are not squandered by war.

I support – and the Prime Minister supports – every investigation carried out by law enforcement and anti-corruption officials. This is an absolutely clear and consistent position for everyone. Right now it is extremely difficult for everyone in Ukraine – enduring power outages, Russian strikes, and losses. It is absolutely unacceptable that, amid all this, there are also some schemes in the energy sector. I will sign a decree to impose sanctions on two individuals implicated in the NABU case concerning Energoatom. Right now we all must protect Ukraine. Undermining the state means you will be held accountable. Breaking the law means you will be held accountable. I want to thank everyone who stands with Ukraine! Today, the Russian army carried out a missile strike on our Odesa region, and last night there was also a Russian attack on Odesa’s energy infrastructure. At one point we talked about the situation in this city and the people of Odesa with President Trump. Today’s Russian strike, like many others before it, had no – and could have no – military purpose whatsoever. A civilian vessel in the port of Chornomorsk was damaged. This once again proves that the Russians not only refuse to take the current opportunity for diplomacy seriously enough, but are also continuing the war aimed precisely at destroying normal life in Ukraine. It is crucial that, under such circumstances, the world maintains the proper moral compass: who is dragging out this war and who is working to end it with peace, who is using ballistic missiles against civilian life, and who is striking the targets that influence the functioning of Russia’s war machine. I am grateful to everyone around the world who is trying to spread accurate information and is preventing Russian propaganda from influencing political decisions. Right now, in Odesa and Chornomorsk, every effort is being made to protect lives – just as in Kharkiv, Sumy, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and the cities of Donetsk region. And it is essential that the desire to wage war stops dominating in Moscow. This depends solely on how the world responds to Russia’s actions. I thank everyone standing with Ukraine!
