Last year a reddit user u/EPCOThistory found a source tape for a projected clip that was used in the 1994 version of Spaceship Earth during the descent. This could be seen in the park until 2007. Really reminds me of Cyberspace Mountain from DisneyQuest which opened in '98

Austin Wells being the hitter that he was projected to be would change the Yankees lineup in such a big way. He was a 96th percentile framer last year and 93rd in 2024. (I think framing will still be a part of the game until they get rid of umpires entirely.) Even with getting benched last year because of his bat, he was a 3 WAR player according to Fangraphs in 2025, and had 3.5 in 2024. Now imagine if he could hit. Wells has a career 100 wRC+ — which is good for a catcher in the grand scheme of things, but it just feels like he can do so much more than that. If he juices that number a bit, he's easily one of the more valuable players in the league.

This early version of "Gas Drawls" from the 12/15/94 episode of The Stretch Armstrong Show has DOOM rocking a cadence similar to what he was doing in KMD. 1994 was the year Elektra canned Black B*stards due to the album-art controversy; DOOM wouldn't officially drop a version of this track until 1997, by which time he was spitting with a deeper, hazier flow. Really interesting to hear this piece of the puzzle regarding the transition from Zev Love X to MF DOOM.
