As I’ve said … 👇 It’s asinine how long these companies are staying private, withholding opportunities from the public and creating a liquidity crunch for LPs, it all flows downhill eventually.

It's so true. For example, All Sarbanes-Oxley really achieved was an increase in the cost of being public. We didn't need more laws - Enron, etc. already broke many laws. If anything we needed less laws and more enforcement of the laws that remained.

I think a lot of Founder-CEOs really aren’t excited about all the oversight and control you give up by going public. Unless you really need access to capital and that is the only source, it isn’t attractive.

Companies goes IPO, shorts abuse the system and short the company into bankruptcy. Why would any company IPO?
