Spoke in Lok Sabha today on the success of Operation Sindoor and India’s strengthened counter-terror resolve under PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji. We deployed indigenous & modern military technologies to strike deep into Pakistan’s territory and eliminated key terror training infrastructure. We also demonstrated seamless working of our Integrated Air Command And Control System, reflecting preparedness of our forces to defend our Nation against incoming missiles. As Late Gen. Bipin Rawat rightly warned, India faces a 2.5-front war — and it’s now evident that the Congress is the internal “0.5 front”, weakening the nation from within. Between 2004–2014, over 8,000 civilians were killed in terror attacks during UPA rule. Congress not only failed to respond but actively weakened our national security by repealing POTA and diluting the NIA’s powers. In contrast, the NDA Govt has built a robust counter-terror architecture — with decisive leadership, cross-border strikes, and deep investments in defence startups, modern equipment, and border infrastructure. During Operation Sindoor, Radical Islamist mouthpiece / Darbari Arfa Khanum Sherwani kept lecturing India to “de-escalate” and “stop the war.” Today the same person is asking India to attack Pakistan. This is exactly what Late General Bipin Rawat meant by the “2.5 front” war when Pakistan uses proxies and asymmetric tactics like drones against the Indian Army and civilians, while China supports from behind the scenes. Just few hours ago, a Meitei terrorist group aligned with the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) released a video claiming they’ve received drones, bombs, and anti-drone guns from China, and that they plan to coordinate attacks with both Pakistan and China against India. This isn’t the first time. During the 1971 Liberation War, groups like the PLA and UNLF fought alongside Pakistan and the ISI against Indian forces in Bangladesh. They operated freely until Sheikh Hasina’s government finally removed their safe havens.
