Chamisa talks to many people and takes ideas and proposals from them. He implements what is strategic and practical for the CCC given political conditions and circumstances. The claim that Chamisa doesn't listen, does not have structures, works alone and is a dictator is nonsense. He is a democratic leader who believes change can only be secured through democratic elections. Some may not like his style, but that is normal in politics. There is a difference between style, strategy and substance. In any case, why should Chamisa listen to advice coming from his rival's advisers? Ncube is a known Mnangagwa ally and now he works with his son-in-law at his media business. So why on earth would Chamisa listen to advice from that sort of a dishonest person who even lies about a meeting held seven years ago in a totally different setting, time and space? That's ridiculous. Let's must learn to discuss ideas, not people and events; this noisy mediocrity which pervades our polity masquerading as insightful leading lights of our politics is now part of the problem rather than the solution. He has his own system and team that he works with. It's ridiculous to suggest that Chamisa won 44% of the vote going by official results, which we reject as a fraud, and all those seats in parliament alone. How is that possible really? Is he superhuman? He works with others, but it is also true that other people are not happy. That's what happens in politics. He is also fully aware of critical issues that he needs to address urgently, that is the limitations and weaknesses from a political, structural, organisational and strategic point of view. Chamisa welcomes ideas and criticism from well-meaning people, not some malicious malcontents and bullies. He is a bona fide opposition leader who genuinely wants a solution to the country's problems and he is open to working with other people who seriously want to resolve national issues, not noise-makers and impostors. It's time we challenge these false and negative narratives by people who are more opposed to the opposition than the ruling party. Chamisa is an opposition leader trying to help a find a solution to our country's problems, he is not the leader of the country and the problem. He is the alternative to a failed leadership and its policies that have ruined the country with devastation consequences for all, especially the poor and vulnerable. Since then, Ncube has not spoken to Chamisa, not even once, except on 14 July 2021 when he sent a condolence message to him after a family bereavement. So Ncube is lying that he has engaged Chamisa on political issues and he doesn't listen. There is no such thing; it's just a needless malicious campaign and posturing. Chamisa talks to many people and takes ideas and proposals from them. He implements what is strategic and practical for the CCC given political conditions and circumstances. The claim that Chamisa doesn't listen, does not have structures, works alone and is a dictator is nonsense. He is a democratic leader who believes change can only be secured through democratic elections. Some may not like his style, but that is normal in politics. There is a difference between style, strategy and substance. In any case, why should Chamisa listen to advice coming from his rival's advisers? Ncube is a known Mnangagwa ally and now he works with his son-in-law at his media business. So why on earth would Chamisa listen to advice from that sort of a dishonest person who even lies about a meeting held seven years ago in a totally different setting, time and space? That's ridiculous. Let's must learn to discuss ideas, not people and events; this noisy mediocrity which pervades our polity masquerading as insightful leading lights of our politics is now part of the problem rather than the solution. He has his own system and team that he works with. It's ridiculous to suggest that Chamisa won 44% of the vote going by official results, which we reject as a fraud, and all those seats in parliament alone. How is that possible really? Is he superhuman? He works with others, but it is also true that other people are not happy. That's what happens in politics. He is also fully aware of critical issues that he needs to address urgently, that is the limitations and weaknesses from a political, structural, organisational and strategic point of view. Chamisa welcomes ideas and criticism from well-meaning people, not some malicious malcontents and bullies. He is a bona fide opposition leader who genuinely wants a solution to the country's problems and he is open to working with other people who seriously want to resolve national issues, not noise-makers and impostors. It's time we challenge these false and negative narratives by people who are more opposed to the opposition than the ruling party. Chamisa is an opposition leader trying to help a find a solution to our country's problems, he is not the leader of the country and the problem. He is the alternative to a failed leadership and its policies that have ruined the country with devastation consequences for all, especially the poor and vulnerable. He may have his own weaknesses like all of us, but he is the best alternative at the moment. Anything else is just mere wishful thinking and drama."

But through sheer determination and countless 18-hour days, Horane stabilized the platform. Today, Chatter is far from perfect, but it’s stable. The bugs that plagued us have been reduced to moderate issues, and our core users—those who stuck with us through the chaos—are still engaged on the platform. The tariffs aren’t coming today. Thank Premier Smith for being in DC this wknd actively making the case for avoiding a tariff war by sitting down with the Presidents closest advisors. You can see her at galas and at the embassy. My friend Andrew Coyne thinks this is appeasement. I think it’s committed diplomacy. She’s making a clear case, not selling out. And where are the feds? Who are they meeting with? I’m at the Inauguration with some friends who will serve in the new Administration. I’ve been at some receptions and galas a conversations about Canada and tariffs always come up. Yesterday morning the Trump team delayed tariffs and made it clear again: they are about getting Mexico and Canada to solve for border security. In private people say Mexico is preparing a clinical response to the border/drug issues and Canada is MIA except for Premier Smith talking about energy security. Here’s what else I’m hearing: 1. Virtually no one in D.C. could tell you who or what the federal Canadian is doing to fix the broken border and the security, military, trade and the NATO freeloading issues that are the basis of the original tariff threat. The state dept guy said we are notorious for our security problems now and tolerance was fading. 2. Premier Smith is making friends and influencing people. She is focused on direct conversations with the Presidents closest advisors who will decide energy and foreign trade policy including Bergum, Rubio and Wright. Canadian Fed naysayers meanwhile aren’t here, preferring to talk tough on CBC while she’s taking open interviews on Fox and defending Canada directly with Cabinet members. 3. Canada’s leadership vacuum is obvious. No one here understands how a PM can resign & suspend a democracy for three months so his party can have a leadership race. 4. The American priority is security: economic, border, Arctic and NATO. Anyone in Cdn politics who wants to talk tough needs to explain how we will actually fix our broken borders and weak national security. - CTV/CBC, needs to ask every idiot repeating that ‘everything is on the table’ ask them how they will convince the US we are fixing the broken border & our reckless asylum, visa and immigration fraud that invited our growing extremism and criminal and terror syndicate activity to explode. How will the Feds guarantee the Americans they won’t interdict another 1000 watchlist terrorists (90pc+ of all US terror interdictions) in the next few years? I’d love to hear what Joly would say to the state dept guys I just had brunch with. Because their critique of our national security posture is devastating which is why the Americans are intrigued to know how we will fix our immigration/asylum/terror/crime/security/law enforcement issues. 5. While the feds have no coherent messsages or presence on the core security issue Premier Smith is actively addressing energy security with an all-Canada argument: - that our energy is key to US energy security - that they get it today as a discounted input to thousands of jobs and hundreds of billions in U.S. value-added refined and traded goods - when the energy trade is deducted from all other sectors, the Americans actually enjoy a trade surplus with Canada of over $50 billion. Great argument and if you check the video below she makes it clear. So here’s a question for the feds: She’s actively meeting and explaining energy economics to defend against tariffs on all Canadian goods. So what exactly are you doing? The tariff threat isn’t gone just delayed to see progress on the border. Maybe it’s time to get to DC and start talking to US media and the White House instead of trying to take cheap shots on CBC? All of this, and yet, throughout the Oversight Committee’s hearing, Democrats refused to provide oversight and criticized their colleagues who attempted to provide it. “I'm sorry for the personal attacks you have received and may have to deal with today,” said one. “Thank you, sir, and your entire team for saving lives in this country, and I'm sorry you have to continue going on with these attacks,” said another. “The Republicans failed to find, uh, a shred of evidence of their far-fetched conspiracy linking Dr. Fauci to a cover-up of the origins of the pandemic,” said one. “Sir, do you think the American public should listen to America's brightest and best doctors and scientists? Or instead, listen to podcasters, conspiracy theorists, and unhinged Facebook memes,” asked another. Since World War II, Democrats, liberals, and progressives have criticized their political enemies as overly deferent to authority.
