Dogs don’t seem as to get as sick as cats, and we are not certain that this sheep died of H5N1.

This footage was taken on November 3, 2024, at a Kern County, California dairy that had just tested positive for avian influenza two days earlier. The cow in this video is down—drooling, unable to rise—as her herd mates try to nudge her up. No one came to help her. I called the facility, but the number was disconnected. I waved down workers, but no one stopped. It was after hours when I reached Kern County Animal Control, so I left a message. I still wonder what happened to her. * The Big Snow of 2025 on the Galtees * Brothers Tom John William & their nephew Billy Cunningham along with their Hill Sheep Farming Neighbours are out on the Galtees with the last few days digging out their sheep who have been trapped in what has been the worst snow fall in decades. They have managed to save a lot of their sheep with the help of their sheep dogs Sue Sally Hemp & Ted who were able to sniff out the sheep & show them where their sheep were buried but they will have a lot of losses too. They won't know the final count until possibly next week. These hazerous conditions are going to have a huge impact on the whole of The Hill Sheep Farming Community. Well done to all involved and the amazing dogs.

Remember Trump said "they're eating the cats, they're eating the dogs". Well, obviously, anything America can do, Europe can do worse, because in France they're shagging the sheep, they're shagging the goats. Farmers in France couldn't understand what was happening to their livestock, so they installed trail cameras and caught a young Afghan man sexually assaulting the animals, and this story quickly stopped being the lighthearted sheep-shagging story I thought it was going to be. They’re coming over here and they’re taking our goats! European sheep for European sheep-shaggers! Deport.

Around midnight last night a gang of Romanians living in Grimsby dragged what was believed to be a dead body out of the boot of their car in to their property Police watched this video and tried to gain access to the property immediately, having to smash the door down as they wouldn't answer When they gained access they found it wasn't a human body but a 🐑 Police then left the scene saying 'NO CRIME HAD BEEN COMMITTED'? A sheep has obviously been stolen from a farmers field somewhere in Lincolnshire, I suspect stolen to order for the black market, why have they not been arrested for theft, similar cases have seen people get up to 3 years in prison I'm told these sheep sell for around £200 If your a Lincolnshire farmer and your sheep have been going missing lately, chances are these are your suspects

I remember taking a trip to Florida in my teens. We were sightseeing , new to the area. I was just enjoying the sun and the warm weather for once, I didn’t expect to see anything out of the ordinary. It finally hit me as we were enjoying a drink on the water, we see what looks like a floating log. Our friend who owned the boat said to keep our eyes open and don’t freak out, as long as we were in the boat we were fine. Just hearing that alone was almost panic inducing because he didn’t tell us what we were supposed to be careful of. When the “log drifted under the water, I finally understood what it was that we were looking at. Our friend had us piled in a boat on water infested with these gators. Being from up north, we didn’t see much of this. It made me believe I was in my own movie but I was going to be okay, I thought to myself if it was truly dangerous, our friend wouldn’t have brought us out there right? I stayed calm though, I never knew you could fish in areas that had gators, I assumed they would always go after your bait. All in all I would do it again, but I would never have taken anyone in the water and not tell them about the inhabitants, just in case they have a real phobia. Like I would never take my kids in there in case one panics and falls in. But looking back I’m thinking he may have been in the wrong for taking us there, would you take your friends in an area infested with these creatures not knowing? It’s a little messed up in my opinion but I’m over it.

Windrush in Reverse My parents arrived in Britain in the 1950s & left in 1975. But for as long as I can recall before we left, my mum was planning her departure. We used to shop in a store called Arding and Hobbs in Battersea which had a permanent sale in the basement. We were always down there buying curtains, sheets, pots and all sorts for the new house in Grenada. It was as if my parents couldn't settle in the UK - my dad said it made no sense being a second class citizen in Britain and my mother spoke of the racism in the NHS, and the weather. Until seeing this interesting clip, I thought my family (an aunt and uncle also left with their families) were unusual. I wonder how many left? I wonder too about those who wanted to leave but couldn't. I would love to hear stories either here or via DM.
