The “echo“ is the sound of two microphones happening at once. Like a lavalier mic and also the camera mic recording together but not 100% in sync. Thus a robotic echo effect. Solution is to only have one mic recording.

Heavy situation. When reporters are camped outside a home, it usually means the story is far from over - but there’s a real human cost too. At what point does public interest cross into pressure on private families? 🤔

Here’s my question…WHY not show the ransom letters? It’s gotten so much publicity that maybe someone could look at the letters and think holy crap BILL types like that! Or uses such writing structure, words, etc. just a thought.

My prediction is that when this is all over, we'll all be saying, "Didn't see that coming".

Liz Kreutz of NBC also reported that she spoke to investigators who confirmed the search of Annie's home was granted via permission by the family and did not involve a search warrant.

Maybe they should have hired private security before Annie was taken.

I sense that once the 5 pm MT "ransom" deadline passes (with no resolution) that the real stuff will hit the fan. Officials are waiting to see if the "ransom" and "kidnapping" are real.

Question for you….luminol can be used outdoors. Why wouldn’t it have been used on the driveway outside of Nancy’s home since her blood was found at the front door?

I've been following Nancy's case closely since the first reports back on Feb 1, and today's update from Savannah hits even harder. .Thank you, Brian, for the steady, respectful on-the-ground coverage through all of this. Praying with everything I've got that thing take a turn for the better. 🙏💔

A lot of that searching at the homes is for ruling out the family. You have to do that even if you have nothing else pointing to them. It is pretty standard but it helps narrow the suspect list

3 hours seems like a long time to be searching Annie's house . They should be ruling them out by now if they are not involved.

perhaps If they didn't consent it would have raised so many speculations that neither the investigators nor the family needs. Then the search warrant would have been destructive to the case.
