The key word in their statement was "viable". That's subjective and doesn't mean they haven't gotten a good a reasonable offer. Also Vegas is about the least exciting place for a team.. why move there when their tourism is already dropping?

@EdwinGames4 Used to be a HUGE MLS supporter & FCD season ticket holder. Disgusted by the league, owners, and the whole US soccer system. Would be the nail in the coffin if they did this to Vancouver Whitecaps. This isn’t the NFL. There are other options which people watch way more than MLS.

So is MLS now becoming more of a Trillionaire’s club?? I remember when the Caps entered the league, the swuad salary was 3.7 Million and now almost $30 Million or more in 15 years. Does Garber think pushing salaries higher, that the MLS is sustainable w/out NFL or NBA TV deals?

Doesn’t it benefit MLS more to have the Vegas USL owners to expand into MLS.

Vancouver cant fill a stadium even while winning. Hate to see it but las vegas is a more attractive location for players and ownership. Vegas is a lot cheaper to live than Vancouver. Away Fans will actually want to go there. Its easier and cheaper for team travel. Makes sense
