Extremely sad story…. Billy Schmidt was shot and killed near his home in South Philadelphia around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 6. The shooting happened in the 1900 block of Durfor Street. Schmidt, a senior at Penn State, was set to graduate in December. Police said they believed Schmidt was shot during a robbery. Police are asking anyone with information about the killing or these suspects to contact homicide detectives. The City of Philadelphia offers a $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.

Call me harsh, but they had over two damn decades. If they managed to open a business, pay taxes, and buy a home, they sure as hell could’ve made it a priority to hire an immigration lawyer and start the process to become legal. Don’t act like they didn’t have time—this was a choice.
